Four vehicles only at home.
Lovely 4 bedroom home with bunk room (2 set of bunk beds) on 1st level, large kitchen/dining, living room and master bedroom on second level, two bedrooms and 'five o'clock' sitting area on 3rd level, along with screened in porch/deck off this level. Full size bath each floor. Privacy area on first level with six person hot tub, small bar and shower. Charcoal grill in yard for safety. All in excellent condition.

It's kitchen is large and has everything necessary to prepare fine meals. There are 4 TVs in home, plus Wireless Internet. A truly comfortable home away from home!

The beach is approximately 1000 feet, just a short walk for those who wish to enjoy getting a little exercise and at the same time view some of mother nature's work.

Rodanthe is central point to all the attractions on the outer banks, including The Wright Brothers Museum in Kill Devil Hills, the Aquarium and Gardens in Manteo; 5 Light houses located throughout the Islands, and Hatteras Village where one can ride the free car ferry to Ocracoke Island to enjoy many points of interest, including its quaint village.

It's great for those who not only want to get away from the hustle-bussel life style to enjoy the quiet serenity of the area, but at the same time not have to travel great distances to see the many historical sights the Outer Banks have to offer,

Beach Serenity is a Saturday to Saturday only rental during In and Peak Seasons. During Spring, Fall and Off Seasons, full weeks are also Saturday to Saturday; however, partial weeks are available during these seasons. Check in 5:00 pm/ Check out 10:00am ( We ask to please leave home clean as it was upon your arrival)

It is a non-smoking home. Pets (dogs only - maximum 2) are permitted at no additional charge. Pet crates required if pets are to be left unattended in home or on porches.

We urge those desiring to vacation on the Outer Banks, and considering Beach Serenity, to make their reservations early.

we had a great family time, the weather was bad, didn't get to enjoy the beach much. The House was great for a family, we played games and cooked some amazing food in the well stocked kitchen. It was a great week in spite of the weather. Love the location too.

Ocean Vacation

The house was wonderful! It had everything we needed for our trip. The house was just minutes away from many adventures. We loved the beach that was within walking distance. The hot tub was a perfect way to end our days! We wdill definitely return this house if it is available for our next trip to the area.

Beach Serenity

The house was exactly as described and we were not disappointed at all. The third level deck has a beautiful view of the sound making it perfect for watching the sunset. The beach is less than a 5min walk from the property. We would definitely recommend considering this property for anyone's beach getaway.

Another great time!

Second time here, everything was gorgeous, we always love this house, it’s truly a cozy , happy house, everything was so clean, felt like a hotel, and yes we will be back, to our special place that makes you feel so comfortable, thank you Steve, you really made that house amazing! Awesome Property owners and Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was as listed, and pictures are accurate. It’s very close to the ocean, a short walk up a private drive, and the beach is private so it’s not overcrowded at all which was awesome. We had a clogged drain and the property owners had someone at the house in two hours flat. That was very appreciated. The only complaint I have is the place is in definite need of a deep cleaning and some fresh paint. Overall a great place to stay and a great price!

Peace and Quiet at the Beach

My significant other, myself and our pug stayed at the house. It was very well maintained, had all the amenities, jacuzzi, two nice decks for relaxing and seeing the sunset and sunrise on the top deck. King size bed on the main floor was very comfortable. Kitchen had all the amenities for cooking meals at home. It was less than a 5 min walk to the beach as well. Just a note to bring sheets, comforter and blankets for sleeping and relaxing on the couch.

Very Nice

We really enjoyed the house. The location was off on a private road. Away from the main roams. But plenty to see and do near by. Walking distance from the pier. Not for older people with walking condition. A lot of stairs for them. We will be back!!

Enjoyed our stay!

The stay was nice and we really enjoyed the hot tub and short walk to the beach, the kitchen was well stocked and had most everything we needed to cook our meals, was very happy there was a kuerig. I dont think we should have had to wash the towels since we paid for cleaning services, it would have been nice to have showered the morning before we left instead of the night before and we couldnt eat a little breakfast before we left or have a cup of coffee because we couldnt dirty up a dish towel to clean the dishes. Other than that it was a nice house and would stay again.

Location Location Location

We really enjoyed our stay! We love the location because you are in the middle of the strand and close to pea island where we like to bird. The house is good for couples bc of the separation of the bedrooms as added privacy. We had a power outage because of a nasty storm and Steve was quick to call utility's company and it was back on in an hour! The furniture, kitchen supplies, and hot-tub could use updating. We would stay in the home again. Ty Steve!

Photo’s don’t give this House the Justice it Deserves!!

This House is Amazing! The interior decoration made it very comfortable and inviting! House has TONS of Board Games for those rainy days which I didn’t have for a Change on my Visit. The Views off the 3rd Floor Patio are Awesome for relaxing and seeing either the sound or the ocean, the house is in the middle of the island so you can see both. Tons of Beach Stuff which is walking distance like folding chairs and kid toys! I did leave some sand spikes behind for those who fish, couldn’t take them with me back since I flew up and my fishing rod case was already full! Will definitely rebook this house in the future! Rodanthe Pier is right down the road.

Clean and spacious and perfect for a family getaway! Access to the beach was difficult, but we stayed mid Oct during a Nor Easter! Never got to walk the beach, but the hot tub made up for it! Will be back!!! Thank you to the property owners for quick communication during our unique experience and for being so accommodating at addressing our concerns about the weather!
