Welcome to Waterside Retreat! Relax with your family at this peaceful location, or bring fishing buddies! It is in a great community on the canal with access to the Portage River/Lake Erie. Ideal for fisherman, boaters, birdwatchers. Includes room to park trailer/boat, private dock access, large deck, plenty of room in the yard to enjoy, large yard, free parking on site. Full kitchen, laundry, and two full baths. There are yard games, a grill, and patio furniture to enjoy the outdoors. There are three kayaks available for your use. Our property has two private docs. You are free to sit out there or fish out there but you cannot dock your boat there due to HOA restrictions.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Thank you for staying! Please take all garbage and put it in the dumpster between the house and the garage. (All garbage must be bagged.)
Put all used towels in the laundry room.
Take off sheets from any beds used.
Ensure that the garage key is hanging on the hook near the main door in the house. ($50 rekeying fee if not returned.)
Remove your items from the fridge/freezer.
Return thermostat to temp it was when you arrived (75 in summer/65 in winter)
Lock the door. Activate lock by waving your hand in front of the keypad, then touch and hold any number for 3 seconds.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We have bought this property as a vacation home with my sister's family and our parents. We love being outdoors and love the water, so it is perfect. We are excited to share our home with you!

This is a quiet, fun community surrounded by water. It is family friendly, and there is a nice restaurant/pub within walking distance.
What makes this property unique
Our property has a canal out front and on the back of property. There is room to dock your boat right out back, and ample parking for cars and trailers. The large back yard is great for relaxing, cooking, or playing yard games.
