The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious with a great view of the river. It had everything I needed, and the host was quick to reply when I had questions.

The apartment was amazing, comfortable, spacious with outstanding views of the Mississippi River and of course the train movements. We were hardly bothered by the trains at night. Rebecca was a great host. All the amenities were on hand and then some. My wife and I would highly recommend this property and Rebecca as a host. We are already planning our next trip to Ft. Madison.

A great railfan place to stay

Wonderful property to stay and spend our weekend. The view of the river and rails were amazing and just what we wanted. Many sweet little surprises supplied to make the stay extra pleasant. Ear plugs, a bathroom kit, cards, laundry basket, extra linens and a list of restaurants/grocery stores. A beautiful apartment, easy parking, a definate place to stay again.

Railfan dreams

Perfect place to stay for a railfan! Right across from the tracks. Great communication with host. Everything we needed was provided and then some. Very clean. Highly recommend!!!

This loft is perfect for a couple. The kitchen area was beautiful. It had everything you might need. If not there are plenty of places to eat out available. The living and bedroom area was extremely nice. It has a Murphy bed that we slept very comfortably in. There was a large sectional sofathat seemed brand new. The whole loft was beautifully designed. Four large windows looking out over the old Fort Madison train station and then out onto the Mississippi River. There are multiple trains that go by which we found so interesting and large barges along the river. The site said there are stairs to get to the second level which we were well aware of. If you have trouble with stairs beware. We had no trouble sleeping with the trains going by. I would totally recommend booking here and would love to stay here again!!

Very clean and bright with excellent furnishings. Love the floor to ceilings WINDOWS. Perfect to watch the trains and barges all day.
