Tucked in along a quiet beachside street in Panama City Beach, Fl. lies Stingray Condominium. This quaint 2-story building is retro 1950's but unit B-8 has just been refurbished with new flooring, furniture, granite countertops, ceramic wood-look flooring, and new stainless steel appliances. Included is a fold-out sleeper chair that will sleep a small child under 4 ft tall (not recommended for toddlers or infants). The kitchen offers all the conveniences of home including a Keurig coffee maker and a Roku-enabled flat-screen television for your favorite tv viewing. Internet is available via wi-fi. The pool is steps away and the complex offers grilling equipment, plenty of chairs for lounging, and a convenient shower for rinsing off when you return from the powder-white sand and crystal-clear emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There are numerous restaurants in the area and we can't say enough about the shrimp and fish tacos at a great beach dive bar/restaurant called The Alibi that is less than a block away. Gypsea Crepes is a perennial favorite for breakfast, lunch, and dessert. Or for a more elegant night out get to Captain Andersons early to watch the fleet unload and enjoy dining waterside while you savor the freshest seafood available. There are tons of activities very close by offering go-karts, mini golf, and arcades and you can even test your navigational skills at Coconut Creek Gran Maze.
In town for deep sea fishing? The fleet at Captain Anderson's on Grand Lagoon is about a 5-minute drive. Needing retail therapy? There are numerous beach stores along Thomas Dr., Walmart is about 5 minutes away and the shopping destination of Pier Park is 10-15 minutes by car. And when you just need to unwind, pack a picnic, and head to St. Andrews State Park, it's about 5 minutes east by car on Thomas Dr. They have everything to rent from kayaks to pontoon boats and the Shell Island Shuttle can take you to the most pristine stretch of beach that exists anywhere in the area.
