Cottage by the Pass offers all the charm of days gone by as well as all the modern conveniences. Cottage by the Pass is located just steps from the white sand, with no streets to cross. Across the street is John's Pass Village and Boardwalk. Inside you'll find a spacious studio apartment that features a full kitchen, comfortable living area, queen sized bed in sleeping area and large bathroom with walk-in closet. The Cottage is equipped with WiFi and Google YoutubeTV. Outside the double french doors our guests enjoy the large private balcony that offers a peek-a-boo view of the Gulf. The balcony is approx. 400 sq ft, partially covered to allow for a great dining spot.
If you are booking through VRBO - it will be transferred over to Vicinity Vacation Rentals for concierge service, to make final payment and to receive Final Instructions. You will be receiving emails from: vicinityvacationrentals@resorplanet.com

We completely enjoyed our stay! Location is steps from restaurants, shops, and the beach! Mornings on the balcony with coffee were great. The unfortunate hurricane damage to nearby buildings afforded us a clear view of the gulf and sunsets. We would absolutely stay again!

This was a unique beach experience

You are exceptionally close to dining, shopping and entertainment if you want or being on the upper back deck, which is partially covered, allows you casual, relaxing down time. And the beach is hardly a minute away. The best of all worlds!!

Once you're there you do not have to move the car! Except to go to Publix. Very nice studio for two adults. Large balcony with a peek a boo view of the ocean!

Awesome location

This property is just across the street from our favorite tiki bar and you can enjoy the live music in the fenced front yard or the private balcony in the back that you can see the water and beach as you sup your morning coffee. John's Pass boardwalk is across the road with all its little shops and pubs and restaurants. Plenty of boat cruises and beaches. So much to see!

Great getaway!!!

We had a great time. Perfect location with the beach close walking and John's Pass across the street. Nice deck with a partial ocean view. Our 2 fur kids had a great time!!! Deposit was issued within a week which was great because we came home to a hurricane!!!

Perfect location. Nothing to do but relax!!

Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is here. Beach is very close, places to shop and eat just across the street, so if you don't rent a car you can just walk a short way to restaurants and bars. We had a few things come up while there, and Cherie and Mike were on top of it immediately. Great place....we were sorry to leave , but will be back!

Delightful I

I completely enjoyed my recent 3 day stay in this unique Florida cottage. The updated cottage exceeded my expectations. Full kitchen, bed was very comfortable. The electric fireplace was a welcome touch. I don't care for cookie cutter hotels. The large covered balcony was great for people watching. The beach trolley and buses are convenient to the location. Would definitely stay again, only longer!

Perfect Location

My stay for a week at the Cottage by the Pass was everything I anticipated. It is centrally located close to shopping, bars and the beach so you can experience all of these just by walking out the door. I was serenaded each day by music in the evening from the bar across the street and had my choice of restaurants each day. The property itself was well maintained and intimate and provided the perfect size for my vacation stay, yet was able to handle visitors with the spacious deck attached. Do not make the mistake of staying in a hotel when this property can provide you with much more for the same price.

Great Getaway

We spent 5 weeks and enjoyed every minute. Location was great, loved the live music from John's Pass, shops, restaurants and excursions offered at Hubbard's. Very pet friendly and the locals are just as friendly. We had no parking issues because of the friendly tenants staying in the lower unit. We found it helpful to enter from the back of the driveway going in the same direction and pulling up as far as you can allowing for an easy entrance and exit. Both, Cherrie and Mike, were very helpful and quick to respond or address any concerns. Definitely planning on coming back for another stay.

Charming Cottage

What a great location! We chose it because it had the best of two worlds - close to the beach and restaurants/shops. The beach was very private, even on the weekend and about a 3 minute walk. Literally across the street is John's Pass with lots of options for dining. The cottage was well-equipped and perfect for the two of us. The maintenance guy recommended we purchase fresh seafood from Madeira Beach Seafood Co just up the street - so glad we did! Loved having an in-unit washer and dryer. Very comfortable and no doubt we will be back! Remember this is a cottage not a hotel room. Bring along your own toiletries but pretty much everything else you need is there.

Easy beach stay

Comfortable, no-frills stay for one or a couple. Easy access to beach as well as restaurants and shopping at John’s Pass. Handy parking, nice deck and patio with grill. A few basic items that would be helpful: kitchen linens, basic storage containers and hand soap.

What a darling little place and a perfect location. Right across the street from John's Pass and walking distance to the beach. (It's a bit of a walk though) All in all, a perfect weekend place. I would certainly go back.

We had an amazing stay! Cherie was great we got there earlier than check in and she was very accommodating by letting us get into the cottage early. The cottage is centrally located with a minimal walk to the beach and across the street from the boardwalk. We will definitely be back!! I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful

I was visiting my daughter who was transferred to Macdill AFB in Tampa. The location of Cottage on the Pass was excellent. Not to far from anything. 35 min. to Tampa. I stayed 4 nights. I became comfortable rright away. It was a 3 minute walk to the ocean. I hated to leave. Cherie was great. I would love to stay here in the future. Just for a longer period of time next time. I purchased this property from the long-time owner because I just love the classic beach cottages. I promised her that I would keep the integrity of the cottage, and not tear it down for a new home to be built. The bonus is the wonderful location.
