Dear Mrs. Disanto, We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused you during your stay at Poipu Shores Resort on September 18, 2022 – September 21, 2022. We realize that our services were not up to the mark. I would like to take the time to address each of your concerns. The day of your arrival upon inspection of the unit’s appliances and electronics, we found that something was wrong with the dishwasher. We worked to see what was needed to repair the dishwasher and unfortunately found that the parts are no longer available. With limited resources on the island, we were not able to replace the dishwasher in time for your arrival. However, we were able to provide dishwashing liquid and a scrubber. Regarding the unit not having hot water, having difficulty with the faucets, and the screen door constantly coming off the track. We were not made aware of these issues but had we been, we would have sent maintenance over to check on these items. Since checkout on September 21st, housekeeping has been in the unit a few times and have not experienced the unit not having hot water or faucets having difficulty to turn on. Maintenance also went by to check on this and did not find anything wrong with the water heater, or the faucets. They did however need to raise the wheels on the screen door. Regarding the floors, I’ve planned to meet with our housekeeping team to go over our products to see what would help us better maintain tile floors safely, efficiently, and effectively. We also plan to meet with our product vendor to get their professional opinion. Again, we sincerely apologize for your experience and appreciate you taking your time to share your feedback.
