Beautiful Martinique Beach Home Right on the sandy Provincial Park beach!

This modern home is directly on Martinique Beach, the longest sandy beach in Nova Scotia.

This home has been my primary residence for many years. Family and friends continuously comment on the beauty of the view from the living room. Unrivaled.

With a 5KM long sandy beach just steps from the deck, a bird sanctuary around the corner, and a fantastic ocean all around, I consider this spot one of the best places to spend the summer in the east of Canada.


Bedrooms
There is a king bed in the master bedroom with a full ensuite and jacuzzi tub.
There is another bedroom with 2 queen beds another full bathroom with shower in the main house. Across the deck is the attached suite which includes 1 bedroom with a double bed in it and a queen size murphy bed in the main room. There is also a day bed you could utilize if necessary.

The livingroom/kitchen/dining room is in one large area with floor to ceiling windows all around looking out on the beach.

Included is a full chefs kitchen with everything needed to cook just about anything.

Family Gathering at Martinique Beach

I loved that we could watch our family enjoying the waves from the dining room table. We did have some trouble contacting the owners concerning minor issues, but everything was resolved well. It is truly a beautiful place, with gorgeous sunrises and nice long beach walks just out the door. And friendly neighborhood.

Beautiful place, Beautiful location

Our family recently spent a week at this beach home. We enjoyed every minute of it. The home is beautiful, very comfortable and well-appointed with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. The views from the windows are spectacular and Martinique Beach itself is a lovely spot to visit.

Cet endroit magnifique repose sur un petit coin de paradis à 30 minutes à l'est d'Halifax. Pour nous il s'agit sans hésiter du plus bel endroit ou nous sommes restés. Cette maison à la fois moderne et chaleureuse offre une vue spectaculaire sur la mer et la plage qui l'entoure. Le moindre détail de cet espace unique a été pensé et emménagé avec goût. Paradise on the Beach

This is a wonderful home right on Martinique beach in a beautiful area on the eastern shore of Nova Scotia. The house has spectacular views of the ocean and the waves crashing at night lull you right to sleep. The house has all the modern conveniences you need including AC for warm days. The owners were very helpful answering all our questions and made the stay most enjoyable. I can't think of a more beautiful place to spend a week.

Superb!

When we saw the vrbo photo of the Martinique Beach House, we almost couldn't believe our eyes: a modern glass house on a stunning beach just feet from the Atlantic Ocean. I half-suspected it had been photoshopped, but we couldn't resist, and rented it. (We rented the smaller of Michael's two attached properties: the 2-bedroom house with the Murphy bed.) But when we arrived both the house and beach were BETTER than we'd ever hoped! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and intelligently designed, from the tiny details (outlets in the poured-concrete floor) to its grand concept: the wide, unobstructed, sweeping view of Martinique Beach. As it's situated on an E-W axis, the seaward glass wall frames sunrises and the rear windows frame sunsets. And the beach is magnificent: 3 miles of soft sand, crystal-clear water (just about swim-able even in mid Sept.), and rock-pools with sea urchins, starfish, and (broken!) sand dollars. Michael was helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed meeting him--in fact, we enjoyed everything about his glorious home. Try the chocolate knots at Dobbit Bakery in Musquodoboit Harbor.

Perfect

Absolutely beautiful house on a nearly 5km sandy beach that scarcely had anyone on it. Great for beach walks, exploring the tidal pools for starfish or just gazing at the scenery. Inside the ever present sounds of surf added to the holiday feel. For surfers there's a surf shop nearby. We enjoyed everyday here whether it was sunny or foggy. We would love to return to Martinique Beach again one day.

GREAT Beach!!!

The water was excellent. The kids would swim for hours. Very quiet location, yet close enough to Halifax if you want a bit of the city. The caretakers were great, responding IMMEDIATELY to any request, large or small. All in all, a lovely, memorable vacation

Exceeded our expectations!

The view was incredible. The house itself truly perfect. We found the house immaculately clean and perfectly stocked. We plan on going back next year!
