About this space Thibodeaux's Beach House The space Welcome to Sportsman's paradise! The Thibodeaux is the namesake of the infamous Thibodeaux himself who built it for his sweet Clotile after winning the million-dollar scratch-off. He promised God if he won, he’d give a quarter to charity. A man of his word, he did. With the rest of the $999,999.75 he built his dream camp.
There is a lot he’s proud of about this camp but most of all it’s the pool deck overlooking the Gulf. It’s perfect for relaxing, night and day! Thib’s wife Clotile never leaves (except when it's rented). “You may have quit the oil field but you’re still my deckhand,” Clotele tells Thibodeaux when asking him to fetch beer and snacks.
The kitchen is large and great for the Cajun experience where cooking is essential. According to Thibodeaux, the kitchen is perfect for all 4 seasons. Duck, rabbit, deer, and squirrel.
Unlike Thibodeaux, the living area and bedrooms can support a large family. With four bedrooms, each with bathrooms, and double queen size beds, you can pack this place out comfortably. Thibodeaux fears he has spoiled Clotile too much with this camp. It’s a great spot on the island with Beach access.

Overall, my stay was wonderful—I left feeling recharged and grateful for the experience. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beach getaway and would love to return again.
Everything was perfect for our short family weekend w little. Pool was a life saver !
Beach is still being repaired from Ida - but easy access nearby w golf cart or ATV ( don’t forget permit )
The place is highly recommended !
I was told that the beach was open behind the house and it was not and there was constant large equipment working right behind us. We had to rent golfcarts in order for the kids to be able to access the beach. The neighbors next door told us that they received a 30% discount because of the inconvenience of the beach access.
