I really loved my stay on the North Shore. The house was dream. It was peaceful, tropical, and beautiful, and honestly just a great place to relax. The house was huge, the bed was comfortable, and having a full kitchen was really nice. Hosts have the sweetest dog that welcomed me when I returned from the beach. I loved being able to slow down and enjoy the area. It was exactly the kind of peaceful getaway I was looking for, and we would definitely stay here again.

Simple accommodation which is beautifully set in a lush tropical garden, which gives the whole place a very peaceful and authentic atmosphere. Hosts are extremely helpful, friendly, and always very responsive. A lovely bonus was being able to enjoy fresh fruit straight from the trees in the garden. We also absolutely loved the gorgeous dog, who added even more charm to our stay. The location on the North Shore is excellent and a great base for exploring the area. If you are looking for a relaxed stay surrounded by tropical nature, Pua Pono House is a wonderful choice.

We don't understand the 5 star reviews for this property. The location was great (e.g. near beaches, near grocery store, etc). But the property was a bit worn down and could use a refresh (entrance light was broken, paint chipping from kitchen cabinets, enamel chipping from kitchen countertops, marks on the walls, etc). It also wasn't very clean (e.g. hair and dust in vanity drawers, dead and live bugs (lizard in kitchen, big moth landed on me while reading in bed), etc).

Beautiful property nestled in the back of owners home. It’s very cozy and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and its close proximity to Haleiwa and other north shore beaches. Kitchen is stocked ok washer and dryer outside worked great! Also very quiet and the property is lush with trees and plants. Peaceful.We loved Dwight the family pup, so sweet and welcoming, felt like home!

Wonderful stay - myself, husband, and 8-year-old daughter. Beautiful and large property with tree swings and fruit trees. Very well-stocked home and kitchen. Grateful for all the beach things we could use - towels, chairs, and even a boogie board. Kind and helpful host. Super comfortable space for our small family. Highly recommend and we'd love to stay here again.

We had an incredible stay! The hosts are so nice and took so good care of us! Everything was very clean and so beautifully decorated. We also loved the garden, the beautiful huge trees and the fruits we could pick from them. We had huge and absolutely delicious avocados! We love to stay there soon again!
