Adam, thank you for being a great guest! Welcome back any time 😉
My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and the location is excellent. The owner responds quickly if you have a question.
I will rebook this location in the future.
Overall for the five of us it worked out, we enjoyed our stay at the Urban Home. Only hiccup was the door, but once we got used to using it we had no issues.
Enjoyed this modern up to date home. Keyless entry and bluetooth speaker in the bathroom was really nice. Also appreciated the additional details regarding the property and reminders throughout the home.
Our host was very responsive to any issues we reported and checked in on us during our stay. The property is a small house built in the 1950’s per Zillow, and the neighborhood was quiet. There has been work put into updating the house and the decor was whimsical and inviting. The beds were all comfortable, but in two bedrooms the beds are high and may not work for young kids, the elderly, or someone with a disability. The office area has a low, sloping ceiling and anyone 6 ft or taller will have to stoop in the room. The WiFi worked well during our stay. There is no dishwasher, no garbage disposal, and the drain catchers in the kitchen sink are glued in. The lack of a dishwasher meant some dishes were not properly cleaned before being put away. We would have appreciated knowing in advance that the washer and dryer are coin operated. Guests are expected to put all toilet paper, including the provided single ply tissue, in the trash can instead of flushing it down the toilet. This would have been a deal breaker for us if we had understood that in advance. We stayed for 15 nights.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for staying with us for 15 nights. We’re glad to hear you found our communication responsive, the neighborhood quiet, and the decor inviting.
We would like to respectfully clarify a few points for future readers. All house information—amenities, and limitations—is clearly listed in the property description prior to booking, including that the washer and dryer are coin operated. As noted in the listing, this is an older home that has been thoughtfully updated while preserving its original structure.
Additionally, there are clearly posted signs in both the kitchen and bathrooms regarding the glued sink drain catchers and proper toilet paper disposal. These measures are in place because, unfortunately, some guests do not follow written instructions, which can lead to plumbing issues in an older home. (As it happened during your stay but we solve the issue immediately with a professional plumber)
We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to clear communication so guests can determine if our home is the right fit for their needs before booking.
