Our unit was super clean and met all of our needs We enjoyed how big the place was and the overall property had plenty for us to do! Great location too
We loved the location and gated community. Plenty to do and the place had lots of space for our family of 5. Grounds are kept very clean. Owner responds fast and is helpful.

Great Key Largo Stay
We loved the community, the house, and the location! Before we decided to stay here, we did a bit of research and decided that a place with a great pool was essential. This one exceeded expectations. We did not miss sandy beaches and instead, really enjoyed afternoons chilling at the pool after spending the day on the water.
The townhouse itself was very nice and clean. It was perfect for three couples - or two couples plus one in our case. We will certainly visit again.

Great location, plenty of room :)
We loved staying at Mariner’s Club. The location was ideal. Close to everything, yet far away from the hussle and bustle. We were a family of 5, with 3 women. Having the 3 1/2 baths was great. We went 3 months after hurricane Irma, and although you could still see debris along US-1 we had no complications during our trip. The townhouse has lots of room. We loved the upper sun deck. Will definitely tell all my friends about it.

Didnt realize all the stairs. The place needs a good deep clean. Lots of dust bunnies on doors and trim. When we arrived we found a cup if coffee still in the microwave with lip stick on it. Im sure cleaning forgot about it Good location to pool.

The cleaning ladies typically do a very good job cleaning the unit, I will look into the dust on doors and trim.
This resort was the perfect blend of everything we needed for our stay. The condo was on a quiet street within walking distance to the hidden beach area, the tennis court, and the large oasis pool. And the clubhouse and separate pool and marina weren't far either. The layout of bedrooms on the 3rd floor, and base floor was great separation with the main living/cooking in the middle. The mini kitchen at the bottom was convenient as well. The place was nicely decorated, and updated (maybe an additional loveseat for sitting on main level with a full group?). We enjoyed watching the manatees in the marina, and the sand around the pool area. We cooked quite a few meals in the condo and the kitchen arrangement worked great to be able to talk and have the dining table nearby. Instructions for check in were clear, and we used the host's suggestions for places to try for other meals.

The house had plenty of space and stuff for me, my wife and 3 adult sons (19-23 yo). Pictures and descriptions are fairly accurate on Vrbo. All appliances worked well and looked fairly new. House is old (as others have noted) but clean and well maintained. My only complaints: there was slight septic odor in the master bathroom, seems to be coming from shower space (reported to host); all floor surfaces are tiled, pretty hard on my feet (we try not to wear outside shoes inside the house). Wish the stairs had tread covers (there were friction strips on the step edges which socks stick to and cause a tripping hazard) and rugs in the rooms. Resort was nice but we didn't have time to use most of the facilities as we really just used the property as a springboard for exploring the Keys and the Everglades. One son used the well-equipped gym almost everyday and he said he was alone every time. Guards were friendly. There was construction on the road when we stayed and easy to miss the resort entrance in the dark.

The resort is actually relatively new, was completed in the early 2000 so only about 20 years old.
No other guest has ever commented about any smell coming from the master bath shower drain. It's located on the top floor of the townhome, so water drains down 3 floors to the ground where it then simply flows out to the sewer main that runs along the road. Just to be sure, I checked it myself and I could not smell any odor. The family that checked in the day after you departed and was there for 5 days did not report any smells either.
The unit is tiled throughout, most guest prefer that since it is much easier to clean and sanitary. I do have standard anti-slip strips across the edge of the tiled stairs only as a precaution since one could slip if the tile was wet. However, the surface and texture of the strip is designed for this type of use, since it is similar to sandpaper, so it would not stick to socks. Once again, I have never had a complaint about those anti-skid strips on the stairs for any other guest and it prevents slip and falls.
Beautiful pool, spacious layout, could use some minor improvements
We had a wonderful week in Key Largo. The weather was beautiful, and the grounds at this condo were very pretty. The pool is spectacular. The unit was large and our family had plenty of room to spread out and not feel cramped.
I'm VERY glad I read othe reviews because had I not I wouldn't have known to bring additional bath towels for my family. We are a family of 5, and we found the bath towels to be inadequate as well as wash clothes (we had 2). We like to cook on vacation and the kitchen was not equipped for a family. There were not any mixing bowls at all, there was one plastic bowl for chips, but it was cracked on the bottom. In addition the storage in the main kitchen refrigerator on the doors was lacking as all of the doors were broken.
With just a few inexpensive tweeks (more linens and a quick stop at Target to refresh the kitchen supplies) this place will be perfect. We greatly enjoyed our visit, and trust that the owner will take our recommendations in mind for future renters.

Glad that your overall experience was a positive one. A bit disappointed with comments posted on the online review and 3 star rating as I typically get 5 Stars for this unit. The unit is typically stocked with 10 bath towels 4 hand towels and 4 wash cloths as well as 6 beach towels. But if you required additional towels or additional bowels for the kitchen, I would have been more than happy to bring you any of those items that you may have needed to make your stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately, you never made that request while you were here even though the welcome letter in the unit states that we have done our best to make your stay a pleasant one, but if you feel there is something lacking please be sure to let me know and I will be glad to resolve it for you. I checked the refrigerator and could not find any broken/malfunctioning doors and that is not something that anyone else has commented about. So not exactly sure what you meant by that.
the location is good for making trips to the keys and the pool was nice.
The terrace of the townhouse is very small and the rooftop terrace is very hard to climb.

I am a Civil Engineer by trade, having worked for 11 years at a firm in Miami primarily in the areas of Land Development and Highway Design. In the mid 90's I began renting out my second home in Key Largo to generate extra income and as the saying goes 'The rest is history'. I still keep my Engineering License active (worked to hard to get it) and have since obtained my Real-estate License. Have been able to use my background to volunteer and give back to the communities where these properties are located by serving on varies BOD's.
