Security: Outdoor cameras are located at the front door (ARLO), driveway, entrance gate, chicken coop, and rear of the property (mounted on the garage and facing the backyard) By entering into this agreement member/tenant acknowledges and agrees that member/tenant has been given prior notice of the security cameras and consents their usage.

Non-Smoking Property: Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors; a $500 fee applies for violations

Thermostats: Smart thermostats are set between 70–80°F to comply with local energy guidelines and protect the AC system.This is the ideal recommended temperature for our humid coastal beach climate.

We had a great stay. There were 7 of us staying overnight, and the property was well laid out and perfect for our executive retreat. The house would very comfortably fit larger groups. Peta was a great host and extremely accommodating, and very responsive to our questions. It is a unique property with a lot of amenities and chickens :-). We would definitely recommend it to others.

There was 14 of us that stayed her and it was absolutely amazing. The outdoor area is spectacular. The sound of the waterfalll is calming. The TV outside is where we spend most of our time. Playing pickleball and working out in the gym were also part of our stay. The amenities in Peta’s home were plentiful. This didn’t feel like a usual VRBO It felt like my home away from home. Loved all her extras.

Spring Break with kids

We really enjoyed our stay. The kids had a blast in the pool and playing basketball. The family’s had plenty of space. The adults had a pickle ball tournament and enjoyed the sauna and workout area. The hosts were great and answered all our questions promptly. Highly recommend!

Family Christmas

We had 13 adults and 2 infants for our family Christmas. Our generous hosts even had the house decorated for the holidays! The house was beautiful & designed for a large family. The amenities met the needs of all of our family members from infants to teens to young adults to older adults. Hosts were very easy to communicate with before & during our stay. This was easily one of our favorite homes and we would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your home!

It was above and beyond awesome!

We were in town for a wedding. 17 of us had plenty of space and every single need was met! The house was beautifally decorated and so entertaining. There was something for everyone. We especially loved the pickle ball court and the privacy of the property. The chickens were a great addition and the pond entertained the little ones. This is one of the best homes we have ever rented. Thank you to the amazing host!!

Stayed for a family gathering (12 people, ages 1–95). Overall a large property that is great for a group — but a few cleanliness and maintenance issues.Pros:- Spacious home with room for shared activities and privacy.- Hosts were gracious and responsive. They deep cleaned the grill for us prior to arrival, and offered to come right over when we had a problem with the grill and oven.- We enjoyed the chickens and fresh eggs. - Great for kids, including an enclosed pool (safety gate pool fence), crib, high chair, and lots of kid toys.- Strong air conditioning and a fenced in patio which was perfect for outdoor meals without bugs. - Easy to access, quiet, safe neighborhood. - Spacious kitchen with large island for cooking. Cons:- Cleanliness could have been better — we found hair in a bathroom, some dishes and utensils were dirty with dried food. - We had problems with both the grill and oven that took about an hour to troubleshoot.- House was not fully stocked: one bathroom had no soap/towels, and we were not able to find basic cooking essentials like olive oil. - Property had some piles of construction and some rusty elements in the backyard - had to be very cautious with the young kids. - If you are sensitive to scents or have allergies, the house was strongly perfumed (including strongly scented dish soap). Sharing what I'd like to know when deciding between house and hotel. Would recommend for a large group and thank you for the stay!

We encourage guests to use this resource, especially if they’re new to induction cooking. Regarding supplies, we do our best to ensure the home is well stocked. In addition to bathroom essentials, we keep a dedicated “Did You Forget Anything?” closet in the main reading room with extra towels, washcloths, soaps, baby items, first aid supplies, and personal care essentials. The kitchen is stocked with oils, vinegars, seasonings, and a wide selection of spices, and we often leave fresh herbs on the counter for guests to enjoy. We appreciate the note about scent sensitivity as well — this is helpful feedback as preferences can vary, and we’re always evaluating the products we use in the home. EXCEPTIONAL!

This house was perfect for our extended family vacation! It is a very convenient location to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The house itself was beautiful! We are a pretty active family, so the pickleball court was used multiple times everyday. The workout garage was perfect for all levels of fitness goals in our family. There was a cold bath and a sauna for recovery. The pool was plenty large enough for all of us, and the attached covered porch was perfect for others to enjoy the fun. We loved the huge outdoor table and grill. I can't say enough how much we appreciated this family trip! Owners were wonderful communicators as well. We will definitely be back!

Something for everyone

We had 15 of us across 3 generations staying at this home, and it was just perfect. The house is clean and well decorated. It is equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals, relaxation and entertainment. The garden provided fun exploration for the little kids and a serene place for adults. The chickens and cats entertained the kids but they were well contained and not intimidating for those who didn’t want to engage. Fresh eggs were delicious! The pool and pickle ball court were well maintained and ready to use. The location was convenient with short drives to groceries, restaurants, and the beach. Most importantly, Peta and Josh were just the best hosts- responsive, kind, thoughtful, and professional. We would love to return!
