About this space Welcome to this Beach Condo with AWESOME views. Completely remodeled! & centrally located. Walking distance to so much and super easy beach access right in front of the condo complex! barbecue area and laundry facilities onsite and beautiful award-winning grounds at the complex. The moment you walk in the door of this condo you will see the beach!! !, free SUPER FAST WiFi, brand new Sterns and Foster Mattress, Close to Cruise. The space Voted "Best Condominium Rental 2021" Casa Del Mar has won the award from the Best of Galveston and Clean Galveston.
Our condo comfortably sleeps 6 (4 adults, 2 kids recommended). With a queen bed in the bedroom with a recent Mattress, queen sleeper sofa (added memory foam topper- very comfortable!!) and 1 small junior bunk bed in the hallway. This Condo is 4th from the front so the views are phenomenal along with a lovely ocean breeze. A private balcony with a beautiful ocean view to enjoy.
The bathroom is accessible through the hallway and the bedroom.
Our objective is to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible by providing surprising amenities (Blender, Keurig K-Cup Machine, 4K Ultra-HD 65" TV's, Bamboo pillows, board games, stocked spice rack, and kitchen utensil)
It also has keypad entry (no need to worry about keys!!).
It is centrally located right on the Seawall and short walk to the beach. A Shuttle just outside the Condo takes you to Downtown Galveston and nearby restaurants. Only a short drive to Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Pleasure Pier and The Strand historic district. We do not have parking for Trailers.
This condo has been completely remodeled and is extremely clean and well cared for. It is the perfect spot for an island getaway.
We have a very fast AT&T Gigabit Fiber Internet for use.
PS: For Cruise Ships guests my place is only 4.5 miles from the port, around 8 miles and $12~$14 to Uber.
The Casa Del Mar complex also houses TWO swimming pools, a cool spa and a BBQ area. Washers and Dryers are located on the 1st and 3rd floors (coin machines). Guest access 2 Swimming Pools. BBQ Area, On-Site Launrdry and Ice Machine. Walking distances to Walmart , Kroger and other restaurants. Other things to note NOTE: This is a No Pet facility.
From November 1st, 2022 a Resort Fees of $40 for your entire stay(Credit/Debit Card) payable at the front desk is required at Casa Del Mar. (Paid upon check-in and valid for your entire stay) This will include your Parking Passes, pool access, Complimentary Wi-Fi and unassigned parking for two cars in the communal parking garage.
Additional street parking is permitted but can be very costly at Pay Per Hour.

Great location! The condo was clean and well appointed. We had a great time at the beach and in the pool. The little unit was cozy for two adults and a child, but it worked well for us.
The condo advertises that it sleeps 6, recently remodeled with ocean views. My family of 6 chose to stay here for a quick over night following our cruise so my boys could explore Galveston. The condo is situated on the front of the building with a gorgeous view of the ocean. We are familiar with similar condo layouts and knew that we would have enough sleeping areas with the pullout couch, kid size bunk beds and queen bed. The queen mattress was very comfortable. When we went to make up the sofa bed we noticed that it was bent at the top left hand side slanting down making it very difficult for anyone over 3 feet to sleep. We messaged the owner to let them know so they could have it looked at for the next guest and said my boys would sleep at the foot of the bed. We located the provided sheets and pillows for the pullout and they were for twin size bed so they would not fit. One of the extra pillows had what appeared to be mascara on it, it may have been a stain but chose to not use it. The AC thermostat is a Nest smart thermostat, it is very nice. Unfortunately the AC appeared to be broken and would not cool the entire stay. There was a ceiling fan in the bedroom and a small table top fan on the kitchen table. The room stayed about 80 degrees throughout the night, outside temps in low 70s. The entire condo looked very worn with rust, worn furniture and fire detector falling off the wall. This was not recently remodeled as advertised.

I am truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with the sofa bed, including the bent frame and the ill-fitting sheets and pillows. Additionally, the state of the air conditioning and the overall condition of the condo falling short of your expectations are unacceptable, especially considering our commitment to providing a comfortable and well-maintained space for our guests.
Please know that your concerns have been taken seriously, and I have addressed the AC problem you mentioned, the compressor was blown at time of your stay and since has been replaced. I am addressing remaining items promptly with our maintenance team to ensure that these issues are rectified immediately. Rest assured, we are committed to resolving these matters ASAP.
