Find ease, modern comfort, and a classic Blue Ridge Mountain setting at this secluded cabin in the outskirts of Boone. Whether your plans involve hiking, mountain biking, or visiting Appalachian State University, you'll delight in coming home to a private hot tub and firepit to keep you cozy as you stargaze.

This quiet, single-story home is tucked into the woods less than four miles north of Boone, a pretty Blue Ridge Mountain town that's home to App State. It makes a wonderful home base for driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, visiting Tweetsie Railroad (eight miles), or a day of thrills at Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park (five miles). The ski slopes of Appalachian Ski Mountain (nine miles), Sugar Mountain (19 miles), and Beech Mountain (26 miles) are nearby as well.

While the home's exterior is classic and cabin-like, the interior living space is modern and polished. Enjoy a central living room with a smart TV, a well-equipped kitchen, and a dining area with French doors that let in the cool mountain breeze. On balmy summer days, get the gas grill going for an evening barbecue and linger outside to roast marshmallows around the firepit.

Spend your evenings soaking in the hot tub, playing board games, and using the complimentary WiFi to plan the next day's adventures. Each of the bedrooms has a smart TV of its own, including a primary suite with a jetted bathtub and separate shower.

I Don't Want to Share
I hesitate to let the world know about this perfect getaway because I want to keep it for myself. This mountain home offers comfort, privacy, and convenience. Only ten minutes from Appalachian State University, delicious pizza, many other restaurants, parks, stores, etc., one would not think this place would be so tucked away, but it is! (There's a sweet country store about a minute away, too, with local honey, eggs, milk, and a ton more!) The house is surrounded by trees and mountains, and the inside is clean, comfy, and very spacious. The hot tub is a nice contrast to the cool mountain air; the wi-fi works well (even with a gaming system); and the kitchen is well-equipped. The beds are comfortable and there is ample sitting room in the living area. I highly recommend!

Cozy in Boone
The mountain home was very clean and well appointed with large flat screens in each bedroom and living room, good WiFi and the bonus of course was the hot tub. Our entire family loved the location as we skied at App Mountain and Beech so being close to Banner Elk and Boone was great!
