Home layout worked well for our stay. Location was ideal for access to lake to ice fish. Bathrooms have been remodeled and the two large living room, wood burning fireplace really made this home cozy.

Thanks so much Rich, we’re glad you had a great time and much success with the fish!!!
Was easy to find and access was easy. There was plenty of room for all 11 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of games, dvds, and toys for the kids. We enjoyed being right there on the water and was able to easily go out and ice fish.
Amazing location and experience overall. A little cold in the basement at night.

Glad you guys had a great trip! Sorry to hear about the vent in the basement, someone must have closed it. It usually gets too warm down there :(
Apologies.
Great relaxing place on the lake and fantastic to create new and fun memories with family! We did kayaking, fishing, campfires, card playing and playing in the sand at the house. We visited Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, Lilac Festival at Mackinac Island and jet skied at Burt Lake. Much needed time away to reconnect and be rejuvenated! Communication with the owner was superb and quick to respond!! Thank you for a fantastic time!!
Our entire family enjoyed our stay. Lots of room inside and outside to have fun comfortably. The kayaks were a treat and the fire pit was a very nice one. The amenities were many and very much appreciated!! We all decided we would like to go back someday! A visit to the nearby Drost's Chocolates and ice cream shop is highly recommended!
This vacation home is beautiful and has everything you need. Location great for visiting Indian River, Mackinaw, Petosky and Cheboygan. The home is close to the lake so you can enjoy boating, swimming, kayaking and evening camp fires. The home was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We really enjoyed everything about our 2 weeks and wished we could stay longer, The host for this home responses to all your needs very quickly and was a pleasure to deal with during our stay. We look forward to our stay next year.
Great location, right on the lake with built sand beach and docking. House is very specious and gives you a true feel of being up North. It has all needed supplies, appliances, utensils, dishes, etc., though we’ve missed having a dishwasher. Kayaks were also nice perks and very stable on the water.
We really enjoyed a few beautiful sunsets from the backyard and will definitely consider coming back.

Thank you for being great guest! We hope you choose to stay again as we would love to have you back! We hope to be able to install a dishwasher in the near future and make more updates as we go!
The house was well maintained and the property was gorgeous. The kids loved it. The stairs down to the basement bedrooms were a bit tight, and the door to the top was a folding style door that didn't actually latch anywhere so we had to be careful with the youngest child and block it off when they were awake for safety, but beyond that we had no concerns or issues. We would definitely come back in the future.
Beautiful area, gorgeous view, nice neighbors. The house was the perfect size for the nine of us, we never felt cramped. My only negative comment woukd be, the hoyse sleeps 12, but the refrigerator size does not support that many people. The no dishwasher was a let down too. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

Short on details
The paddle board was for a toddler, the house needs a 2nd fridge, the outside of the house a good power washing/cleaning, game table chairs are rickety, couch was a ripped and torn and junky. Carpet in the house need a good deep cleaning or replaced. The knobs on the stove didn't have numbers therefore you had no idea on the temperature that was set. Lawn was not mowed. It is a big house but the layout is a huge waste of space. Overall very over priced and will not stay there again. The bedding and towels were decent and the communication with the owner was satisfactory.

We’re sorry you didn’t like our property. All
Of the bedding is new. That was indeed a kids “surf board” not a paddle board so apologies on the mix up. Unfortunately, lake life brings a lot of water bound bugs and spiders which we’re constantly cleaning and fighting. We have been renovating the space non-stop and the 1 room out of the house with carpet gets replaced next month. The knobs for the burners have been replaced, someone used an abrasive cleaner which took the lettering off. And yes the couch got ripped by a big family who recently stayed with kids probably jumping all over, it’s on the list to replace. Sorry you didn’t see the property like we do! Thanks for staying.
Welcome to our little piece of heaven. A local of Indian River for 28+ years and growing. This place holds a special place to us as the 3rd generation is now enjoying the growing town and everything this area has to offer! Off roading, snowmobiling, boatings, beaches, local food and entertainment, we love this small town!
Why they chose this property
Its always been home way from home!
What makes this property unique
The views and classic A-Frame look. I could sit by that wood burner in the fall or winter all day. And the lake, fishing, and wildlife is 10/10!
