Great time in the woods.
Had a wonderful time on the property. Owners keep the place clean. We walked the trails on the 40 acres a few times. Great place to visit overall. We want to visit in warmer weather to use the kayaks and canoes. Queen bed is comfortable.

Traditional “Up North” Minnesota Cabin
Relaxing getaway in a cozy cabin in the woods. We enjoyed the groomed trail down to the river and saw lots of deer, turkeys, and eagles. Well equipped kitchen for making meals.

Relaxing
Beautiful property, well kept trails, lush trees, therapeutic view of Kettle River. Very peaceful. Things to know. It is more ideal for 4 people. The two beds in the loft I think are full size. I would describe decor as “DIY man cave with occasional visits from the grand kids.” The cabin was clean. We enjoyed our stay. It was nice that the cabin had Wi-Fi,, Netflix and Amazon Video. We had no cellular reception.

Wonderful Weekend in the Woods
What a great space! We had great weather most of the weekend, except for the first night we were there. Thankfully, the screened porch kept us dry and was perfect for hanging out. The cabin had everything we needed, and was super cozy. A note for future renters—it says 3br, but there’s only one actual bedroom and the open loft is divided into 2 parts, without doors. For our family, it was just fine, and we were able to put one kid on a couch, and add a twin air mattress to part of the loft to sleep 8, but for those who need/want more privacy, just something to be aware of. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent again!
