Other than some streaming issues it was a very nice stay. Quiet and relaxing and very close to everything we wanted. Would definitely recommend this place.

That was odd Ken with the streaming issues and we appreciated your patience! We will be updating our Orbi satellite set up to see if that resolves the issue, but unfortunately it’s usually Comcast and a high area usage issue we are told is the issue.
This place was cozy, but didn't feel too small. The updated and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The vaulted ceiling and dappled sunlight coming in through the windows didn't hurt. As a solo renter who had a friends join for a day or two, it was perfect. Love the backyard and grill.
This place was perfect for my husband and I to stay for a winter weekend on Cape. Super clean and well equipped, it was very comfortable for the two of us. Short walk to the beach down the street. Quiet neighborhood but very quick access to Route 28 to get to restaurants etc.

Regina and I are so happy you both had a great stay Mary, we always love when people come down to the Cape and get to experience how beautiful it is out here in the winter!
Property was very nice. It was close to beaches and restaurants.
It would have been nice to have some backing type pans to be used in the oven.

David, We are so sorry we did not have the cookie sheets in the bottom drawer of the oven. We had bought new ones for this season and hadn't put them out. All other cooking pots and pans are in the drawers to the right of the stove.
Accommodations were true to photos and the location was great. The thermostat was a challenge keeping the cottage at a steady temperature. Cottage was clean and Jim was very helpful and pleasant.

Amy we are so happy you ladies all had a great time over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend!
I believe the thermostat was in a set schedule mode so it kept changing to a schedule that was pre-programmed from the thermostat company. I cleared that so it should remain consistent for future guests. I general leave it on “permanent hold” so you can adjust it manually.
Property was clean and pristine. Full kitchen and plenty of space to lounge and relax. Super comfy bed! The owners Jim and Regina are great hosts and even invited us to their evening fire pit for cocktails and conversation. We found a great beach walking distance or an easy drive. Very convenient location for restaurants, beaches, etc. we loved this place!
Very well equipped kitchen. Nicely decorated. Quiet residential area. The bed was very comfortable. Extremely clean and well kept. Many welcome touches such as shopping bags, beach bag, and beach chairs. Close to the beach.
Awesome cottage with amazing hosts. Exactly as pictured! Clean, and efficient use of space. A bike ride away from beaches. We will definitely try to reserve a room next year.
Bright and airy, cozy and clean. Stayed last year, and loved it! Close to the beaches, shopping, and dining. Rode my bike to the gym not far away. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful when I needed a tire fixed. I hope to return next year!
Peaceful and quiet for the two of us. Location is perfect as we like walking on the different beach areas. Super well maintained. The charming space in the backyard is perfect for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.
Super hosts and once again, thank you for sharing your haven of peace with us.
The property was beautiful, clean, and quiet. Walking distance to the beach and minutes away from fantastic seafood. My mom and I take our traditional Cape Cod getaway every year at this time. I would highly recommend this property. The owners were prompt with responding to my request and and questions and made the check in process very easy. 5 stars!
The property was just as described and how it appears in the photos. Check-in was very easy. The bed was comfortable and we had all that we needed. We stayed busy all week with trips to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, so we did not get to spend much time at the cottage or enjoy the backyard area. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this property.
All very good except couch not comfortable and TV choices very limited.

Eric,
Yes, I agree on the couch! As I mentioned to you during your stay we have been waiting for a new slipcover sofa bed to come in that’s been backordered for over a year now! It’s crazy…the good news is it came in and we picked it up today 10/12/2022. Coming soon you’ll see the photos will show the new 5 pillow sofa bed! 🥳
As for the TV, renters have been using their subscriptions so the Free TV is limited to a few hundred channels.

This cottage is light and airy with the cathedral ceiling in the living room and kitchen. Fully equipped with everything you need. Beautiful little back yard with table and chairs and two Adirondack chairs with table. Hosts are very nice, welcoming and accommodating. Thank you so much Jim and Regina!
Loved the neighborhood house was clean and updated. The back yard was open and spacious. Near main st.
Just need a handle on the side of house for older visitor's. Owners watched in Ring to often. Felt like we were being watched all times.

Hi Jennifer, we’re glad you had a nice stay and we apologize we’re not completely set up for older folks with mobility issues. We will definitely keep that suggestion in mind.
I’m not sure what your talking about with regards to a Ring and watching you…we can assure you that there are no cameras or Ring set up on either Cottage. We have one on our front door for packages when they arrive. Maybe that’s what you’re talking about but that’s our house nowhere near your cottage doors.

We bought back in 2005, live on-site and have spent each year improving our property and the 2 cottage rentals. It's a great property and we are proud to offer you a renovated & clean place to enjoy your vacation. We love living in Bass River and the short walk to the beaches with our 2 children whom have grown up as our little beach-bums! LOL We offer an open invitation Saturday nights to our fire pit after check-in to anyone that doesn't have plans & looking to relax and laugh! (weather permitting) Regina & I sell real estate year-round here on the Cape so feel free to ask us any questions if you've been thinking about real estate and investing for your future here on the Cape.
Why they chose this property
We have decorated and updated our 2 cottages as if we were staying in them ourselves! We are always trying to improve them to offer you a great Cape Cod vacation experience. Plus we are always looking for our renters feedback to see what we missed or could improve upon.
What makes this property unique
Look around and if you can find a better deal as clean and newly renovated as ours go for it…we are confident that we are offering you the best in a 1 bedroom cottage vacation rental in Bass River!
