This is a beautiful, quiet part of the world, so please be respectful towards the neighbors and keep the noise down, especially between 11 pm and 7 am.

My neighbours have my contact information and will inform me of any excessive noise, especially if it goes into the night.

No smoking, vaping, or drug use anywhere in the building or on the outdoor patios and patio furniture.

If you do smoke on the property, please clean up after yourself and make sure all butts etc. are fully extinguished before disposal. Flinging butts on the property will automatically invoke your damage deposit.

No extra guests without prior consent.

Pets are allowed for a fee of $30 per stay. Guests are responsible for always keeping their pets under control and to clean up after them. When you bring your pet along, I kindly ask that you adhere to a few simple rules during your visit. This way, I can continue to operate as a pet-friendly retreat in the future.
• Please always keep your pets off the furniture so that other visitors coming after you won’t have to contend with potential pet odors. If, however, your pet insists on hopping up, please make sure you cover all bedding and furniture with blankets and sheets brought from home.
• Pets must be always under the care and control of their owners. There are many local dogs who are friendly.
• Pets must not be left alone inside the cottage for extended periods.
• We ask that you clean up after your pets.
• All pets enjoying their stay with us must be up to date with all necessary shots, flea, and tick treatments. Ticks are bad on the South Shore, please check them over carefully after outdoor excursions. We do our best to mitigate ticks in our yard but cannot guarantee anything.

The cleaners will dispose of garbage for you. We simply ask you sort it accordingly.

Since the property is on a septic system, please do not flush any plastics, wet wipes, or chemicals as these will clog up the septic system.

Do not use the washcloths to remove makeup or mascara. Use disposable pads for this and please dispose of these in the garbage.

Hot tub rules for your safety and enjoyment of future guests. please review the following.

• No glass in the area (plastic containers only) plastic wine glasses are provided :)
• Do not pour any liquids into the tub
• Swimwear only, no shoes. Please rinse both your body and bathing suit before entering the hot tub. Detergents and body lotions are very bad for the hot tub and will produce lots of foam/bubbles.
• Please leave spa covers on and secured when not in use. The cover may blow open if not secured during high winds.

Electric Bike Rules (highly recommend riding down the train tracks – beautiful views)
• Use at own risk
• Helmets are provided and highly recommended
• Please clean and plug the bikes back in after each use and lock up the shed
• Don’t cross the highway, or ride down it
• Any problems with the bikes when you put them away please let us know

Cozy little spot
We spent our 25th anniversary here and had a great time. The accommodations were modern and very comfortable. The hot tub was great.

Our mini moon
Just a couple of days away after the wedding. It was absolutely what we were looking for. Quiet and secluded. From the minute we drove in the drive we felt at home.
