Located just minutes off the interstate, our house in Henryetta is the perfect stopover for families and travelers looking for a place to relax after a long day on the road. We spend several weeks a year here visiting family, so it has everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
PLEASE NOTE: The home is pet and kid friendly but not fully "child-proof"; please watch small children carefully.
A couple important things about the house, to make sure this is the right fit for you:
-There is a railroad crossing about a block away, and trains pass by several times throughout the day and night blowing their horns.
-This is an older house that is "settling", and you may notice that the floors are wonky in a few places.
-We do treat regularly for insects, but especially during warm and wet times of year you may encounter some bugs in the house (ants, rolly pollys, spiders). Keeping the kitchen clean and wiping up any spills/crumbs immediately will help cut down on any insects.

I enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed the house. I think it was more of a family home so it fit us well. Yes it is an older home. But that’s what it was a home
House was in fair condition. Was well furnished and comfortable. Would be a great place if you had young ones! Floors could use some attention but otherwise it was okay.

About the host
Hosted by Andrew Potter
We live in New Mexico and have a young son. We have family in Henryetta, and we spend a few weeks each year visiting and staying in our home, so our kiddo can get to know his family there.
Why they chose this property
The home is just a block off the main street in downtown Henryetta, and across from a small town park. It's conveniently located near an interstate and a major highway, and there are several restaurants and other amenities within a few minutes' drive.
What makes this property unique
The property is nicely shaded and the house has an open, bright feel. We love the lighting inside in the morning and late afternoons as the light filters through the trees.
