Why they chose this property
We also live in the area, which is one of the most interesting and Special in all of Prince Edward Island. Fortune has been an artists' community since the 1800s, and remains one of the most sought out, non-commercialized vacation locales. We arrived here in the 1970s from the United States to build a United Nations project called the Ark at Spry Point. We loved it and never left.
What makes this property unique
This property is so special because of its serenity and privacy. A deep and singular sense of tranquility. Although it is only a few hundred yards from Rt 310, the house is unable to be seen by any other property either from land or water, and no others are visible from the house itself. The inside of the house is comfortably and attractively furnished in an informal fashion. From every window the water is visible along with the birds which represent a huge range of species. It is located on Eglington Cove and can be google mapped at (Eglington Cove Lot 43 PEI, Canada). The 17 foot family sized canoe makes the secluded and protected Fortune Back Beach an ideal location for sunbathing, exploring, picnicking and swimming.
