Welcome to get away home. Home away from home. Get away is located in a beautiful neighborhood with ample rooms for family and group vacations. Within the property, we have a conference room that can accommodate a macimum of 12 people, as well as a beautiful hot tub to die for.There is also a car garage for ample parking. Welcome and enjoy the beautiful home in the suburbs of Portland Oregon. We have made the stay worthwhile and I believe you will attest to that. Welcome!

I was completely scammed by this host - should be negative star options

I rented this house for Thanksgiving day for a large family gathering. I paid over 1k per night for this house with the fees. I had many family members coming from out of state. I was concerned when I did not receive information from the host about check in information. So I reached out to the host without an any luck . I then contacted VRBO. They were unable to get in touch with the host either. I was told by VRBO that I could not cancel without a penalty - so I went to the location at 3pm on Thanksgiving day with my partially cooked Thanksgiving dinner only to find people living in the house. When I contacted VRBO about my situation - they only offered an expedited investigation. I had to scramble to find another location for my family to meet at a moments notice.
