Case Dena is located in the upper village near the Church of San Giovanni. Well away from the crowds , yet near Restaurants , shopping and Cafes. Beautiful Views of the Mediterranean Sea , Green Mountains , and the entire village. The large private terrace is lovely for intimate dinners , drinks and relaxing vistas of the sunset. Only ten minutes walk from train station. Unique oversized apartment. 115 m2 = 1238 ft2 with an huge terrace of 50m2.
This fully equipped and air conditioned apartment has the best views in town.
Fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, including dishwasher.
Comfortable mattress in 2 bedrooms that sleeps 4 plus an extra futon in the living room.

Great place for a relaxing stay

This was a fantastic stop along a beautiful part of the Italian Coast. The house was amazing along with the views but be prepared for narrow stairs.

Breathtaking views!

You won't get better communication from Carolina, the owner of this property. Meticulous details for a accessing the apartment and always a quick response to queries. Location cannot be beaten, with a view that is probably one of the best in town. Facilities were excellent with comfortable bedding, a well equipped kitchen and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. If I could make several suggestions! An electric kettle and a small microwave would be handy. Plus, the stairs are extremely daunting (steep and narrow), so we discovered a luggage service where they come and collect your luggage and transport it up the hill to meet you transportation. The service even includes carrying the luggage down the stairs!! Up too, I would image. Riomaggiore is a beautiful town, and after visiting along th Cinque Terra, I believe the best place to stay.

Wonderful views and atmosphere

We had fantastic communication from Carolina from the time we booked. She guided us through all of the processes and was quick to address any concerns or offer assistance whenever we needed it. Possibly the best equipped apartment we stayed in during our month in Italy. The decor is authentically rustic Italian and it all makes for a lovely, comfortable stay. It is however a very long way up, and this is a hard climb with kids in tow and lots of luggage if the lift from the station isn’t functioning as was the case for us. Best to make sure you pack light for your stay. Once you make it up to the apartment, the views are worth every single step of that climb. They are truly spectacular!

Beautiful Casa, amazing location, clean and spacious facilities.

We loved staying at Casa Dena. We felt right amongst the town and loved the rooftop terrace. The aircon worked well and the casa was very clean and lots of facilities were provided like laundry detergent, beach towels and kitchen amenities. I would highly recommend staying here, it made our time at the Cinque Terre so pleasant! Thanks Carolina :)

Excellent!

It’s a very easy passage from train station to property. It is up 36 steep stairs but once you’re there the views are spectacular! Big bedrooms, air conditioning, washing machine, kitchen facilities, huge terrace with awning. We are in each night as it was so hard to tear ourselves from the view. Carolina was a great host, good directions, very responsive and friendly. I hope to return sometime and would not hesitate returning here!

On top of the world in Riomaggiore

This apartment truly lives up to its name with exceptional views including a stunning view of the ocean. The location of the apartment gives you the opportunity to spend some time away from the hustle and bustle of the popular tourist areas, whilst also still being right in the heart of the village. There is a local bakery not far from the apartment where you can pick up fresh pastries and bread, and small “mini-marts” also not far from the accommodation. Just be prepared to walk up and down some steep hills! As for the apartment itself, it was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of five. There was fantastic viewing of the town and the water from all windows, with the best view of them all being up on the roof where we often sat and enjoyed dinner as the sun set. The balcony also has deck chairs if you’re in the mood to soak up some sun. The kitchen had enough facilities to cook basic meals. The beds were all comfortable, with airoconditioning in each room. Be prepared to climb 4 flights of marble stairs to get to the apartment – but each flight of stairs means an even better view.

Great family place with million dollar views!

Our family of four had a wonderful five night stay in this apartment. It is clean, comfortable and well-equipped and Riomaggiore was a great place to base ourselves in Cinque Terre. But the real highlight was the rooftop terrace. The photos don’t do it justice, and with most restaurants in town offering takeaway, it was easy to spend the mornings hiking and exploring, then the afternoons and evenings basking in the amazing view across the town, the hills and the ocean. Highly recommended!

This apartment is FABULOUS !!! Everything you need is here. The location in Riomaggiore is perfect, close to the Cinque Terre trains, close to restaurants, close to shopping and close to many outdoor activities. The location affords stunning views overlooking Riomaggiore and the private rooftop terrace is beyond wonderful. This apartment is a MUST STAY !!!

We enjoyed Riomaggorie very much! The rooftop terrace offers beautiful views. The stairs to reach the apartment are very steep but worth the climb for the wonderful view and nice, clean apartment.

Beautiful View

The view from the terrace is absolutely incredible, it is hard to put in to words how beautiful it is. Carolina communicated wonderfully and she made it very easy to check in to the place. The only con I have about the place is that the AC broke before our arrival so we slept with the window open to keep it cool. However, because the window was open, it got quite loud in the morning. Other than that, we had a great stay.

If you are thinking of staying in chinque terre do yourself a favor and stay here! This place was wonderful, great location and had everything we needed. The rooftop terrace was absolutely stunning. It was about a 5 min walk from the train station, and there was a great cafe right below. Property manager was great at communicating and answered any questions we had!

Stunning views from the rooftop

Our stay was wonderful and met all of our expectations. We loved the large rooftop where we had dinner and enjoyed our evenings after visiting the small towns. The trek up the stairs is worth the view you get from the rooftop.

Gorgeous Views and Plenty of Space

This property is better than advertised. The view from the very large terrace is like a postcard. The owner provides everything you need. It is only a 5 minute walk from the Riomaggiore train station. We would absolutely go back to this property.

Best views & amazing location

Our stay was spectacular! We had extra (and very heavy) luggage as we came directly from a backpacking trip in the alps. Carolina provided a barcode to use the lift which was extremely helpful getting our luggage up from the train station closer to the property. It took several trips to get each item up the stairs in the building, but was definitely worth it! The restaurant below (Old School) was our favorite spot to eat and the owners treated us like family. The views are amazing from the terrace, we played lots of card games with our teenagers and relaxed there. The property also provided beach towels to use which were helpful because we hiked to each village and swam at every opportunity. There is also a local pesto cooking class in Riomaggiore (we booked on Viator) and it’s within walking distance from the property, others had to train/taxi from different villages. Everything was truly amazing!!
