Welcome to 172 Alpha!

Have fun with the whole family at this cozy place! It is a delightful retreat that combines comfort, convenience and character to create a memorable stay for our guests.
Furnished with newer appliances and furniture around the home, the living area is inviting with comfortable seating, charming artwork/decor that provides character to the home, and entertainment options (TV, Wi-Fi, free Netflix, and books/magazines). Bedrooms (3) and bathrooms (2) are well appointed - stocked with extra clean sheets, comforters, pillows & pillowcases and toiletries, towels and ample storage for belongings. Kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with basic cooking essentials like oil, spices, coffee, tea and sweeteners. It has an assortment of kitchen gadgets, pots and pans, and German-brand knives ready for any cooking task. There's an extra fridge in the garage. Don't forget to relax in the new deck furniture and feel the breeze under the newly decked and lit pergola in the sprawling backyard. Of course, a year-old washer and dryer, and supplies like detergent, softener, and bleach, are available for your use. It has a 2-car garage, and 4 compact vehicles can be parked in the driveway.

We make sure that our home is impeccably clean with attention to detail in housekeeping. Our past reviews (in another vacation rental site) highly speak of this! Safety and security of our home and guests are also our priority with working locks, smart lock for entry (key lock box is also available), smoke detectors that are periodically checked, and house alarm.

Location-location-location! We are in close proximity to Target, Walmart, HEB, Costco, Lowe's, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, Academy, retail stores and restaurants, and EVO Entertainment complex. TX State University is only 14-mins aways and 19 mins to San Marcos Premium and Tanger Outlets. Univ of TX at Austin is 32 mins away and so is downtown Austin.

Guest access:
Smart lock access. Entire home (1371 sq ft), garage and front and backyard (lot size-7,596 sq ft). As we do for our guests, please treat our home with TLC. Thank you! 😀

Great Place
Wonderful place to stay. We were in town for a friends wedding and the house was very clean and everything we needed for the trip. Communication with the owners was also great and very quick.

We're from Richmond, TX - 15 mi southwest of Houston (about 5 hours drive round trip to 172 Alpha). I easily warm up to people! I'm a people person and my hubby and I work hard to meet/exceed our guests' expectations of their stay in our home and of us as their hosts. Our 5-star reviews (from another vacation rental) inspire us to even work harder to welcome back our guests when they're in our area. Fun fact about me is I love Zumba! We love to travel and family time and watch movies and eat out!

The neighborhood features a playground, a community pool and a clubhouse (not accessible to guests but can be arranged for week-or month stays in advance). It's in close proximity to Target, HEB, Walmart, Costco, Lowe's, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, Academy, EVO Entertainment, restaurants, banks, Urgent care and hospital, and more.
