Johnny’s Beach Bungalow has one of the best locations in the entire area. With just a 3 minute walk to the beach and fantastic restaurants right next door and just down the road, you will come here and, just like most of our guests, never want to leave. Located near Hacienda Pinilla which has two 18-hole golf courses, tennis courts, and several pickleball courts, you can enjoy some of the highest amenities, at a comparatively low price. What does a comparatively low price mean? Well, Johnny’s has 19 beds and can sleep up to 28 people making it lowest priced per person luxury property in the entire area.

VACATION PACKAGES
As a private resort, we can offer several vacation packages to help our guests relax and enjoy their time in Costa Rica.

BREAKFAST
Each morning, our staff cook delicious Costa Rican breakfasts for our guests. Additionally, our staff can also prepare American breakfasts that your group may be more accustomed to. Just let our staff know your preferences and we will do all we can to accommodate any dietary preferences and restrictions. This complementary breakfast is our way of showing love and saying thank you for choosing to stay at Johnny’s Beach Bungalow (you can find our food menu among the pictures of the property).

MEAL PACKAGE
The food around the Tamarindo area can be expensive with breakfasts ranging between $12 and $15 a person and lunch and dinners often costing between $15 and $30 for food and drinks per person. It’s normal for a group of around 20 people to regularly spend $240 to $300 for breakfast each day and between $400 and $600 for lunch or dinner. Our upgraded meal package includes both lunch and dinner for your group at a cost of $30 per person (5 years old or older, young kids eat free) per day. Guests who get the meal package usually save about 25-35% of their overall cost of food during their stay at Johnny’s along with the convenience of your meal being prepared for you when you wake up. When you book or inquire about booking, let us know if you would like to add the meal package.

TRASPORTATION PACKAGE
After traveling for several hours, the last thing you want to do is to wait another hour in the line to a car rental place arguing with the agent why the amount your were quotes online is so much less then the amount you are being charged at the car rental place. Go ahead and skip this hassle. Let us save you time and money by greeting you at the airport and bringing you directly to your destination. However, it doesn’t need to be a direct trip, we can also stop at a delicious restaurants or pick up certain supplies from the store on the way to our Private Resort.

Transportation by taxis to Johnny’s from the Liberia Airport usually cost around $150 for a one way trip for 8 people. We have two 12-passenger vans that we can use to pick people up and drop them back off at the airport. We only charge $150 per trip or $300 for a round trip. Our guests who get the transportation package can also use our vehicles to drive around and explore and go to excursions. The average cost to rent a van with the fees and insurance is about $260 a day. Our guests are able to use our vehicles for $200 a day saving them about 25% on transportation.

PRESIDENTIAL PACKAGES
For those who would like an all-inclusive experience in Costa Rica, we would like to offer you the presidential package. The presidential package includes the meal package and the transportation package, and it also includes the following services:

The All-Inclusive Presidential Package that includes everything above is the same cost as the booking and it can be paid for about 30 days before arrival.

There is an additional $20 guest fee for each additional guest per day ages 5 or older above 16 guests.

For guests who do not wish to take advantage of the packages we offer, we would like you to know that we have plenty of parking at The Johnnys and we have a fully stocked kitchen, equipped with all you need to cook your own meals. There is a gorgeous outside deck outside with a BBQ where you can grill up your own masterpieces.

Johnny’s is just a 3 minute walk to the beach and a 7 minute walk to Lola’s. Some of the attractions in the area include:

LOCATION
Located on the south end of Playa Avellanas on the Pacific Ocean, our guests get to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets as they take a short walk along the beach from Johnny’s Beach Bungalow to Lola’s, the famous family friendly bar and restaurant of Playa Avellanas. In fact, our guests who want to learn how to surf will gather at Lola’s where most of the surf schools start their lessons. So if you or your group is wanting to learn to surf, this is where you will come.

BEDROOM AND PROPERTY SET UP
As a private resort, Johnny’s Beach Bungalow can sleep up to 28 guests. And as private resort, Johnny’s has awesome amenities such as laundry services, complementary breakfasts, a gym and each of the 6 bedrooms has its own entrance to the outside and their own ensuite bathroom. The following is a breakdown of the rooms and the number of occupants for each room.
- The Ocean Suite has a king bed, and a queen bed (Sleeps 4).
- The Bali Room has a queen bed (Sleeps 2).
- The Surfer’s Cove has a queen bed and a bunkbed (Sleeps 4).
- The Sea Shell Escape has a queen bed and a bunk bed (Sleeps 4).
- The Breezy Tiki Hut is the bunk room and it has 3 bunkbeds, a queen bed, and a king bed (Sleeps 10).
- The Seaside Flat is a mini apartment with a queen bed, a sleeper sofa bed, and a kitchenette (Sleeps 4).

GYM AND YOGA PATIO - There is covered outdoor patio area with gym equipment including free weights and benches. This area can also be used for yoga.

OUTDOOR SHOWERS
After a day at the beach, and a short walk back to Johnny's, you can easily rinse off the sand at one of our 2 outdoor showers.

DINNING AREAS
Our covered outdoor dining area includes a beautiful Costa Rican Guanacaste wood table that can sit up to 12 people. We also have additional seating in the kitchen area for dining.

FULL KITCHEN
Our beach house offers a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, toaster, rice maker, blender, cooking utensils, refrigerator, freezer, oven, and microwave. Guests have full access to cook and use the kitchen.

LAUNDRY ROOM
Our beach house has a laundry room for our guests to use. We also offer laundry services as part of the presidential package.

PRIVATE POOL
Enjoy ultimate relaxation in our turquoise pool with a rock waterfall feature. With plenty of lounge chairs and seating around the deck it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy.

REMOTE WORK AND INTERNET
Rather than work, disconnect and relax. But if you must work, we have you covered. We provide a 200mbps connection and Wifi at the property to help you handle anything at home that still needs to get done.
