About this property

Circle H Lodge - Lake Granby/Grand Lake

The Circle H Lodge is a spectacular historic property perched on the edge of Lake Granby, with sweeping views of the lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Recently remodeled, it has a stunning top-of-the-line "mountain modern" vibe.
Perfect for a larger gathering of up to 16 guests, the home features 7 individual bedrooms -- each with its own bathroom and spectacular lake views -- and a separate bunk room (also with a bathroom). The 8,800 square foot home has expansive shared spaces to spread out in, including multiple lounging areas, 2 decks, and 2 kitchens. The great room includes a 15-foot bar, a huge stacked stone gas fireplace, and a game area with pool table, Big Buck Hunter and classic video games. Wake up to breakfast around the oversized island in the gourmet cook's kitchen; enjoy coffee or a glass of wine on the huge deck hanging over the lake; relax in the hot tub or sauna.
This 4-season property offers countless activities. In the summer, you can enjoy boating, fishing, fly fishing, hiking, rodeo, etc. Indian Peaks Marina is right next door for pontoon or fishing boat rentals. There is ample parking on the property for a boat trailer, and there are several public boat ramps for easy access to Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Grand Lake. For winter activities, there is downhill skiing at Granby Ranch or Winter Park, extensive cross-country skiing and snow mobile trails nearby, or even ice fishing on the frozen lake.

Please note the following: There is parking for approximately 10 cars on the property. Parking is outside, uncovered. There is no direct access from the property to Lake Granby, as the home is on a steep, rocky slope. Guests are able to access the lake from the neighboring marina or from various Forest Service parks and beaches. Common to most homes in the area, there is no air conditioning, as summer nights are usually quite cool (50 degrees). The fire pit table and outdoor fiurniture are covered and put aside for the winter months.

Incredible home in the perfect setting
The Circle H Lodge was the most beautiful home I’ve ever stayed in. 7 couples made the trip to Granby for my 50th birthday and everyone was blown away. The expansiveness of the house left our entire group feeling relaxed and left so many options if any of us wanted to spend time alone or in a small group in one of the many living areas. The recent renovation was done extremely well, with all top notch materials and appliances (Wolf, Sub Zero, etc.). The kitchen was enormous and beautiful and a great place to hang out in the mornings and afternoons. Anywhere you stand in the huge main living area you’ll have tremendous views of Lake Granby, which in January meant watching the ice fishermen through the big binoculars. Then there’s the bar. It is so huge and amazing! It’s a true, professional bar with a dishwasher, ice maker, refrigerators and more sub zero wine storage then you could ever need. All of the bedrooms are en suite and very comfortable. But the master…….wow! Huge, beautiful and great views. I’m actually going to buy the same bed that’s in the master, it was that comfortable. Lastly, the hosts were very welcoming and easy to work with. Ingrid communicated with us before and after the trip and Burke was there to show us a couple things, like how to turn on the sauna. The only complaint I have is it would’ve been nice to know how well stocked the house is. Would’ve cut down on our packing. See you next Summer!

Paradise on Lake Granby
This house was spectacular. We had a group of 16 and everyone had their own little slice of luxury. The house had every amenity and did not skimp on anything. This was the first time I really didn’t want to leave a vacation and go home. The views from the decks were mesmerizing and the location was perfect for everything from hiking, horseback riding, fly fishing and white water rafting. The town of Grand Lake is only a few miles away and it was one of the more charming places we have been.

A WONDERFUL 3 day Vacation
It was an awesome stay for college friends and their sposes! The has is spectacular, with all of the amenities!! With no AC, the only suggestion would be to have a few fans to circulate the air in the kitchen and living room/family room areas. The bedrooms all have ceiling fans, so that was great! Overall, one beautiful, relaxing environment!!

Circle H Lodge did not disappoint
We had a family reunion at the CircleH Lodge in Granby, CO. 13 adults and 5 children enjoyed a large residence with 7 bed rooms and a private bath for each. The accoutrements were excellent. Summit llc provided all of our needs and exceeded our expectations. We hope to repeat the experience next year.
