About this property
Plympton Antique farmhouse circa 1707
Welcome to the 1707 house! - this isa classic cape cod style home built in 1707 by the Perkins family! Once a blacksmith's house in 1700s this house has only been owned by three families since it was built. This spot is surrounded by 20 acres of hay fields and rock walls. For many years it was a dairy farm. We now host weddings and many events along with still harvesting hay on these fields here! The house has been lovingly restored and updated by Full Circle Homes - as seen on Houses with History - the blacksmith house. There are two kitchens (one smaller in-law kitchen sink area), two bathrooms, 2 bedrooms on the first floor and three bedrooms on the second floor, dining room and living room. Guests can book the entire house or pair it with the field and the Black Walnut house for the ultimate wedding weekend! Email us at info@fullcircle-homes.com for rates on wedding packages as well! Plympton is a very historic town, quiet and quaint town yet conveniently located. It is full of horse farms, cranberry bogs and road side farm stands. Check out the Sauchuk Corn mazes in the fall or the Farm to table dinners at Just Right Farm in the summer within the town. Down town Plymouth is just 15 minutes away. We are also minutes from Duxbury, Kingston, Carver, Middleboro or Plymouth. Plenty of local beaches/restaurants/shopping, 1 hour from Boston, 5 minutes from the commuter rail into Boston, and 30 minutes from the Cape Cod Sagamore Bridge.

We stayed for one night for a local wedding and it was a perfect home for use. Plenty of space for 7 adults on scenic property. The hosts were wonderful and we enjoyed staying at this home. Highly recommend.
This property was spotlessly clean and extremely well stocked for our visit. We loved the character and decor of this lovely home. The convenient parking and good location worked well for us.
Wonderful property for history buffs! A trip back in time that hit all the marks. Decor was perfection, and added to the full experience. Loved the experience! Hosts were available and took great care in making our stay what we expected.
This is a beautifully restored property and only a 7 minute drive to Fieldstone where we were showing for the week. Great kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of room to hang out together. We will definitely book again!
The house he stayed was perfect while family to enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner together. The host was very gracious and easy access to her. If we had any questions I would highly recommend this place again and we will be staying there again.
We checked in greeted by a nice infestation, spiderwebs and spiders, the smell of mold and must and fruit flies everywhere. We opted to leave and checked into a hotel. Never slept in a bed and owners refuse to refund bc we used their trash barrel. Board of health beware!

We’re disappointed by this false review. The guest kept her full reservation, left trash, and demanded a full refund, claiming the home was “unlivable.” When we declined, she threatened to “make sure this place is never rented again.”
Our property was inspected immediately after her complaint and stay and were not able to find any issues she stated. We value every guest’s experience and always address legitimate concerns promptly, but in this case, the claims were unfounded. False claims like this only take away from the experience of respectful guests who appreciate the care we put into every stay. We appreciate our future guests taking the time to read through all reviews for an accurate sense of the quality, integrity, and professionalism we provide.
This is a very cool property! If you are into antique homes then this is a must stay. The house and property are beautiful. The home is spotless and has all the modern comforts as well. The home provided our family of 6 adults with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is clean and has modern appliances and everything you need. The only constructive criticism I have was that other than the Master bedroom bed, the other mattresses were too firm for our liking. (Just a personal preference). Overall it is a beautiful property and we highly recommended it for a unique experience to stay in a historical home.
I, my husband, and several friends decided to make a weekend trip out of visiting the nearby King Richard's Fair. Several of us are history and/or antiquing buffs, so when I spotted this property I knew it would be right up our alley; I was not wrong--the old home features and unique furniture were a delight. It's located on a quiet road in a beautiful setting, with fields, a few ancient trees, and a distant pond to greet us while we sipped our morning coffee.
The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was a good size for all of us making big family meals together. We took a walk on the nearby trails, visited the town, and wound down the night to the evening chorus of crickets.
Our only hiccup was that the two bathrooms are accessed through the bedrooms, so it meant a bit of extra planning on getting ready or heading to bed--but it was fine for our group. We would all happily stay here again!
