Hi Susan, thank you for your review. I must say I am disappointed with the 4 star review. Joseph and I are co-hosts and he was home and available for any of your needs. You even met him before meeting me. Our one request upon check out is to please run the dishwasher. It wasn’t done. Additionally, we accommodated 2 cars. I would appreciate it if you could extend a bit more grace towards us as we did for you and change this to a 5 star rating.

Lovely!

The apartment was clean, very updated and new, bed was very comfortable, all of the amenities we needed and a yummy loaf of bread was waiting for us! We will def stay here again when in this area!

Great spot!

Janeen and Joseph have a great apartment below their house. They were very kind and the apartment was lovely. It is small and open concept and everything is in great working order. They have managed to fit everything you could need, including a very comfortable king size bed, into a relatively small space. It is easy to get to wherever you need to go and we’d definitely stay there again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful

The location is exceptional. Very easy to find. Our host family was wonderful. This is a walk out basement made into a lovely one bedroom. Our refrigerator had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us as well as a pitcher of filtered water. The apartment had very nice linens and towels. Well supplied with coffee and creamer. There was a dehumidifier in the bedroom that served to keep the air dry and provide a wonderful white noise. Our host is a fabulous baker and provided us with homemade sour dough, scones and muffins. What a fun and delicious surprise. Highly recommend this beautiful newly completed property. .

Great accommodations, wonderful host

New, very clean, well appointed efficiency on a convenient & quiet street in Darien, CT. Bright & airy, with full kitchen, bedroom, full bath (no tub, but large shower w/ wand and rain fall), & washer/dryer. Host has provided many thoughtful details like robes, slippers, full size ironing board/iron and hair dryer. Perfect for one person. If more than one guest, be aware it’s an open plan efficiency. No door to bedroom or bathroom. Host has provided a folding screen for bathroom opening which helps but if more than one person is staying, just be aware. The host is a great communicator and very responsive. We would stay here again.
