Perfect Location for a Family Getaway - Even in the Rain

We spent two nights with our family of twenty people (adults, teens, and children) at Stoney Ridge Lodge on the first weekend in March. The lodge is located on a beautiful piece of property and we planned a number of outdoor activities from hiking to a night around the fire pit for our group. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas - it poured form early morning into the night on our only full day there. In spite of this, we had a wonderful time. The lodge is actually a luxury log cabin and was the perfect place to spend a cozy day indoors. There were plenty of comfortable couches and chairs, multiple televisions, three commercial grade video machines, a dart board, and even an elliptical machine. We were able to come together as a family and the lodge also had enough space for anyone looking to spend some quiet time alone. The furnishings were beautiful and Dave the owner went out of his way to supply everything we could possibly want, from an array of snacks which greeted us on our arrival to a jar of chocolates in each of the bedrooms. We highly recommend this venue and are already planning our next visit.

Amazing!

The lodge was absolutely amazing! The property manager was very accomodating and it was like having an "on call" concierge. My son became sick while we were there and he went to the store for us to pick up something for him. The rooms were beautifully designed and the amenities were great. The lodge provides everything u need so just bring your clothes and food. They also provided a welcome meal which was great too. We had such a great and peaceful time over the Thanksgiving holiday and we can't wait to go back! I would definitely rebook and suggest you quickly make your reservation before it's sold out!
