About this property

Bring marshmallows, not laptops! Lkefront on Autumn Lake, 3min to Salmon River!

Come and experience the excitement of the Salmon River by staying at La Bella Vista. You can fish, hike the Salmon River Falls, hunt or hike thousands of acres of state land, or explore our private Autumn Lake while staying in our fully remodeled, 1-bedroom and 1-bathroom cottage that can sleep four guests.

Cottage 1 has a spacious great room/living room with tall ceilings and lights wrapping around one of the beams. The kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, a 24" gas stove/oven, a quartz countertop with a custom tile backsplash, and a stainless sink. The dining space can accommodate four guests and be prep space if required.

The living room is contemporary yet comfortable, furnished with a leather sofa, chairs, and many comfy pillows. In the winter, you can enjoy the gas fireplace while reading a book. Just off the living room is a twin daybed with a trundle, and the bedroom has a queen bed that can sleep two. String lights behind the queen bed provide a lovely nightlight or soft ambient lighting.

The bathroom has a full-size tub shower with custom tile and a rain shower head to help you relax after a long day of fishing, riding, and hiking. The upgraded flooring adds to the overall atmosphere of the space.

You can step outside through the glass sliding doors onto the attached deck to grill your meal or sit and enjoy the beautiful view of Autumn Lake. Then, walk down the outdoor steps to your private fire pit and roast marshmallows to round off your stay.

As our guests, you'll have access to three docks, a man-made beach, and a charming pergola at the beach. We provide boats free of charge for those who love the water, ensuring everyone can enjoy the lake. Life jackets are also provided for your safety and peace of mind (bring special sizes). The docks, beach, and boats are shared. We have lots of boats; no one will go without them.

We provide essential cookware and kitchen tools, dishes, and flatware, a microwave, toaster, and regular coffee maker, dining room-bar seating, great room living room space, leather sofa, chairs, daybed, trundle, queen bed, ceiling fans, heat, AC, sheets, quilts or comforters, standard pillow, and bath towels. We even provide a couple of rolls of TP and paper towels. We've considered everything to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

We understand that your furry friends are part of your family, and we're delighted to welcome them at Autumn Lake Cottage 2! Bring a maximum of 2 pets (with an additional $100 pet fee) and let them enjoy the vacation with you.

We rented Cottage #1 for the 2024 solar eclipse and it was perfect! The unit had a beautiful view of the lake from both sleeping areas, was clean and quiet, and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was also beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail! During our stay we enjoyed painting some rocks for the property grounds, fishing from the canoe, and just relaxing around the fire. The only thing we would change is the length of our stay - we wish we stayed longer and can't wait to return!
