Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Toilets did not flush properly. Carpet in all bedrooms was disgusting. Dishwasher did not heat to dry. Freezer door won’t seal so floor is wet and laminate floor is curling. TV’s in barn do not work properly. Leaky faucet in master bath. Bath tub would not hold water. Basketball hoop pictured is not there. Grill is charcoal so bring your supplies. The place needs a lot of TLC. Backyard was fenced and pretty nice. Off street parking was good. Location was convenient.
Loved the photos and they didn't disappoint. Converted print shop from over a hundred years ago has been transformed into mod masterpiece from top to bottom. Nice attention to detail from the carefully selected lamps and art to the clean cupboardless kitchen. A place for everything and everything in its place. Bonus; game barn in back yard. Would stay again. For sure.

About the host
Hosted by Erin Brinkman
I'm originally from north of Apache Junction (about 40 miles east of Phoenix.) I recommend it for a day trip! The light on the Superstition Mountains and the silhouette of saguaros at sunset is 100% worth the trip.
I've lived abroad and started hosting travelers on a site called Couchsurfing, before Vrbo and Airbnb existed! Traveling and homemaking are near and dear to my heart.
Why they chose this property
My partner and I have been frequenting the restaurants in this neighborhood for several years so we didn't hesitate when the opportunity to have a place here arose. It's been a blessing to become even more familiar with the neighborhood we already felt at home in.
What makes this property unique
It was love at first sight- the great room, spiral staircase, and custom island won us over immediately. After that, the backyard, mister system, barn, master bathroom.... There's just so much to love about this place.
