Romantic private, sunny house, perfect for a couple wishing to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. Trails are accessible directly from the house.

Downtown Mill Valley, with a movie theater, shops and restaurants, is a 5 minute drive or a beautiful 15 minute walk. Sausalito and San Francisco are respectively 15 and 30 minutes away.

Sonoma and Napa Valley (wine country) are one hour north, and the beaches are a only a 30 minute drive. There are various fitness centers and yoga studios in Mill Valley as well as a golf course and tennis courts. For stays of 30 days or longer there is NO TAX, however we require one cleaning mid-stay paid for by renter.

This home was delightful, sunny, comfortable, private, quiet, well appointed, fantastic outdoor deck, views galore, and extremely relaxing. We highly recommend this home! The close proximity to area attractions (Muir Woods, Stinson beach, Golden Gate National Park) was excellent. Local restaurants, especially Bungalow 44, were top notch. The home had everything you could possibly need! We had a deer and her new baby come sit in the trees out the kitchen window one morning for over an hour - a real surprise and treat. You won't soon forget your stay here.

This was just perfect. Well appointed, perfectly situated and very comfortable. It was a very special experience to have such a lovely "home" while we were helping our daughter convalesce from an injury rather than trying to manage in a hotel. Would definitely recommend and are likely to be return customers!

Home away from home!

Our stay at this property was amazing. The views were incredible, the kitchen was well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. We live in SF and had to temporality move while our apartment was doing construction and we found our home away from home! Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay

Mill Valley gem

The house is very cozy with great views all the way to San Francisco on a clear day. The parking spaces are right in front of the house. They aren't in a garage, but it's a very safe neighborhood. The fireplace was wonderful and in frequent use.

Enjoyed staying at the apartment. The views were wonderful. Would like to have been notified about the first floor tenant before the day we arrived.

Not sure I replied to this. There is no first floor tenant. The bottom part of the house is not for rent. It is a studio with a separate entrance and I keep it for myself as an office and I let occasional guests from Europe stay there. I am European and sometimes friends visit.

Amazing Awesome!!!

Beautiful setting. Amazing views. Great kitchen. Can't say enough about how great our stay was. We use VBRO places for all our vacations and this was by far and away the best experience yet. We will be hoping to stay here again.

Great space, deck and view

We loved our two week stay here, probably as much as any VRBO stay we have had across California. The open plan living space is wonderful but it is the wonderful, large deck and fantastic views that make the place truly special. We will definitely go back for a repeat visit.

I loved this property and the area of Mill Valley. It was exactly as pictured, bright, and clean. It’s kind of adventure getting to the address as well. I was not expecting the roads to be so steep. When I return to the area I would definitely like to stay here again.

Delightful Mill Valley home

The house is lovely and lovingly cared for. It is very comfortable and well provisioned. The deck and views are amazing and the proximity to town is great. The property manager and the owner were great! I would highly recommend the property. It is probably one of the best VRBO's I have stayed in.

There really was not a hot tub. There was a triangular tub outside. It was not possible to make it hot because it filled slowly each time with not much hot water from a low flow small diameter line. Only disappointment. Otherwise lovely location. Road up is challenging but great hiking out the front door.

thank you for your review. I will check the website but it should not say hot tub. The tub is a large bathtub with jets. It needs to be filled before using it. This allows for fresh water every time and the possibility of using bath salts or bubble bath. I have a Japanese couple that comes for 2 months every year and loves the tub. In Japan people are used to bathing rather than taking a shower. I will check to make sure the hot water flows regularly, thank you for bringing it up.

Special Mill Valley location.

Everything about this wonderful place works for us. Love the spectacular view of the San Francisco skyline In the far distance. it is peaceful and quiet but also is close to the center of Mill Valley with all its amenities.

Wonderful location and beautiful property

We had a wonderful and memorable vacation in this home! The location was perfect, the view from the deck was incredible, and the home was well furnished, organized, artful, and clean. The property manager was excellent. She kept us informed and was very helpful and responsive. We will absolutely keep this home in mind next time we are staying north of the bay area.

The house is downright amazing. All the comforts of home and a massive view!

Overall the experience was seamless. Location and view were our top favorites. A perfect dwelling for relaxation, getting around the Bay Area, and proximity to countless hikes helped to make our stay so memorable. The view from the terrace showcases the bay below and the SF cityscape in the distance. Amazing sunrises!!

Our experience could not have been any better. The house, the furnishings, the location, even the weather was perfect. Had the opportunity to meet the owner and interact with her several times, what a delight and a plus to the experience.Our stay was for a total of 6 weeks, the perfect way to spend a summer.

It is my home, but given the fact that I travel a lot, I have decided to share it with sensitive travelers that would enjoy the same things I do - the peace and quiet, the sun, the outdoor activities and the proximity of a beautiful city such as San Francisco.

Why they chose this property

The views and the privacy are spectacular!

What makes this property unique

The house is spacious, modern, light and beautifully furnished. I have a lot of books, music and unusual art, and a very sunny deck where I like to sit and read, take a tub or simply lounge and get a tan.

I love to walk to town at sunset for a little shopping, and I love to hike the trails right behind my house where I can enjoy sweeping views of the entire Bay area.

Mill Valley is a quaint little town with good restaurants, 2 Whole Foods markets, a farmer's market on Friday, great shops, theater's and a very convenient gym and health spa facility. It is only 25/30 minutes from downtown San Francisco, close to the beaches and not far from the Napa Valley. The weather is sunnier than in San Francisco, but it rarely gets too hot. My house is in a perfect neighborhood for a woman traveling a lot, and I never have to lock my door when I'm home and feel perfectly safe.
