About this property
Sunshine House Partial
Sitting at the top of Page Springs Road since 2006, The Ferie has been home to various friends and family for the past 17 years. Still owned and operated by my moms, designed by my firm MD Objective, and collaborated and built by a lot of hands, you could say the property is a family affair.
The residences have been lovingly built, rebuilt, repaired, furnished, and embellished by many hands over the years with local materials and scavenged pieces. They are cute, cozy, well appointed, and can be a touch rustic with the occasional desert critter popping inside. While only one Residence remains open at this time, over the next few years we have dreams to have work-stay’s, events, and private concierge services and local amenities to offer. All residences feature filtered drinking water, bedding/towels, hot showers, and fast wifi.
The property is part of a dark sky community with night skies being perfect for stargazing, while daylight hours feature a diverse landscape varied with grasslands, rock formations, nearby desert creeks, and mountainous valleys. The communal spaces on the property are all exterior with no separation between residences.
Occasionally we do work on the property, collect fruit from the trees, and are in the process of turning The Ferie into a space for retreats, artists, writers, lovers, and creatives to share and cultivate community. Stay a while, slip into the rhythms of the land and feel free to say hello and let us know how social / solitary you might want your time to be.
