About this property

Sel Lodge next to Geysir and Gullfoss. Right in the Golden Circle.

This beautiful loge is in the heart of Icelands Golden Circle, 5 minutes from Geysir hot springs and 5 minutes from Gullfoss waterfall. With a view of Langjökull. This lodge is a perfect location for every day trip in the south of Iceland. What is better after a day trip to come to our lodge and have a BBQ and relax in the hot tub and watch the Geysir erupt and watch the sun set on the glacier. In the winter there is little to no light pollution so the aurora is exceptional. This is a great place to bring children and all the domesticated animals of Iceland are close by. This lodge will never stop amazing you and your friends and family.

It was very nice and cozy and our kids enjoyed a lot all the toys and the space around the house. The communication was very friendly and helpful and everything went smooth. The location was perfect and the little house provided everything for the preparation of simple meals. Perfect stay for us and our zwo kids.

Cozy summer house with amazing views! Soak in the hot tub & watch the Geyser go & horses graze. Very comfortable, clean, well equipped cabin with everything you could possibly need.Host is very accommodating & helpful, highly recommend!

This is such a a lovely property with amazing views. You can watch the geyser in the far distance from the kitchen table. It is a fabulous location for many activities and tourist sites. The host was so helpful when the lost luggage was being delivered. I would highly recommend this house.

Good:Home was in very clean condition.Wi-fi was consistent and fairly good speed.I only used hot tub once while staying there for 9 days, I just did not have time to enjoy it. That said, that 10-15 minutes that I used it, it was very good - water was in right temperature.While talking about the good thing about the property, I can't emphasize how GREAT the location was, you can see the geyser from the living room - yes it is about 2 miles away, but still visible without an aid of telescope especially some of the good ones, Gulfoss which is wonderful waterfall is less than 10 minutes drive away.Minor negatives:Yes, I am nit picking but I am doing this so that I feel these points, once fixed will make the property so much better.There is no microwave in the property. I feel that it would be so much more convenient to have a microwave instead of an oven and feel it as a minor oversight not to provide one since it is a cheap appliance. I knew this going in and thought it would not be a big deal, but found out it is rather inconvenient especially since you tend to eat in often due to cost of dining out. (Often coming home late as well)The bathroom sink is almost unusable - so tiny and the cabinet above blocks direct above access. I feel it should be replaced with larger sink or at LEAST remove the cabinet right above the sink to make room. Can barely wash hands, and forget washing face.

Property was clean and great location. However I had two adult children that I thought could share the second room with the bunk bed - the top bed is very small and very uncomfortable for an adult so that should get made clear in listing that really not suitable for adult
