Love the very comfortable home, with a great lake view and lots of cool birds out back. Patio a fab chill space. Location Super too for getting to White Bear Lake restaurants - love Washington Square and Aqua for treat. We also love cycling and host happy to let us store bikes rented from Gateway cycles early - very kind!

I had to message that day to get the code to get in. She did respond within the hour, but would have been nice to get info sooner. Inside was fine. Beds fairly comfortable. Kitchen not stocked super well, but we managed. Outside of the house needs work. We would have like to sit on the deck and look at the water, but the deck was filled with cobwebs (the entire outside of the house was covered). The windows are filthy. And we were in town for our daughter’s wedding. Wanted to use the back yard for pics, but grass clippings were horrible. My husband found a rake in the yard and raked the yard so she could go out there in her dress. Unfortunately, we really could not see the water through the overgrown trees/brush. In the end, we made it work but this house has so much more potential.

We had a great stay at the Lake House. It was clean when we arrived. We were in town for a wedding. The location was great. 30 minutes from everywhere! The owner was quick to respond to my questions. Couldn’t ask for more.

Everything was wonderful although we had such a short time in the home. The only issue was that I did not receive the code on the morning of check-in as communicated. There was a little bit of stress with waiting for the code and I had to call VRBO customer service to connect with the host.Everything else was as was expected.

Fablulous location and cozzy

Super comfortable with beautiful views of the lake. We loved that its on a cul-de-sac so no traffic... its quite neighbors are nice and an overall fabulous place to unwind... we would DEFINITELY stay here again

Graduation Weekend

This was the perfect location for our family to relax during our daughter's graduation. Pool table in the basement was a big hit. It appeared the property was still being renovated, but what has been completed is very nice.

A nice weekend!

The owner was great to work with and the house fit our needs. Quiet neighborhood located close to events in the area. Enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck looking over the lake. Would stay here again when back in the area.

Perfect location, great view

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was a perfect fit for my husband and I and our 3 children. The pool table/ping pong table was a huge hit. Great location and the view of the lake is beautiful.

A great lake home to stay at

My family and I dealt with a furnace fire and these hosts allowed us to stay when a lot of other places would not. They were kind and made the process very easy for us while going through a hard time. The home was beautiful and decorated very nicely. Great location with friendly neighbors as well. I bet this home would be a great get away with the lake being right in the backyard.

Great Gathering Spot

This house was the perfect gathering spot for my husband and I, our children, their spouses and grandchildren. The house has a fresh remodel to the interior and was very comfortable. There is a beautiful view of the lake, quiet cul de sac, nice deck off the kitchen for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. There were a few things that we contacted the property manager about upon checking in, but they were quick to resolve the issues with no problems and even sent flowers to apologize for the inconveniences.

Pet friendly. Trash cans outside full. Grill was in pot condition. Hot tub not working. No Rropane for grill. Had to turn breakers on to get outlets to work. Four of five pool sticks had no tips. WiFi wasn’t working when we arrived. Deck outside full of leaves. Climate in house was warm. Needed more towels for showers

The house is in a great location and we really enjoyed our time. There were a few things that can be improved. 1.Handrail going into the house needs to be repaired, it’s very loose. 2. The hot tub needs to be repaired or taken away. Right now it’s full of standing water on top of a tarp and is a breeding ground for mosquitos 3. More silverware is needed. There are only 4 butter knives. 4. The lawn needs some work, both front and back yards are a mess. I see that it is on the market for sale, if you are looking to sell the property it’s not a great first impression. 5. The hall light does not work 6. There was no body wash in either of the 2 showers. 7. Check the heater, to make sure it’s working properly. It was usually really cold or really hot. 8. Linens could use an update. 9. I did not see a checkout list, we stripped the beds, took out the trash and put the key in the lock box.
