A short drive to Mentone and Ft. Kim Payne . There is a well maintained dirt road (861) .that leads to a gate. You will receive gate code before your stay. My driveway is to the left after you enter.

Very nice cabin

Secluded Beautiful cabin. Had a great week and can’t wait to come back again. It was just as advertised and a great host answered my questions very quick. I give it 5 Stars.

We arrived at the property and was immediately impressed with the view. Little cottage on the mountainside. Marie our host was amazing with communication before and after our stay. 💯 percent satisfied. They sunrise off the back was beyond words. Would not hesitate to return. Great stay! 10/10 rating and more. Thanks so much!

Wonderful!

The stay was more than we could have ever expected. Very clean and beautifully decorated. We’ve told so many people about our stay. Will definitely consider staying again. The house is secluded and you feel like you have the world to yourself and then everything you could ever want to see is nearby. Took in lots of hiking and enjoyed fort Payne area also. Hope your stay is as great as ours was!!

Weekend getaway w/husband

This property was magnificent. Mrs. Marie went above, beyond, & around . This truly was a home away from home feeling without all the hustle, bustle.& noise of ever day life. Total rest & relaxation can be found here with all the added extra amenities.. She had it all, down to antibiotic cream, allergy medicine, or antacid tablets, she has you covered. The views from the front & back of the cottage is absolutely breath taking. The sounds of mother nature were music to my ears & soul. Morning coffees on the front deck & nightly cocktails or tea on the back porch. An absolute must go, & will definitely return again. 5 star across the board here

I have owned this home for twenty five years. My brother built it for me and I’ve enjoyed it for a weekend getaway. I decided to list with VRBO because I haven’t had time to stay the last few years. I thought it was time to share with others and I hope you love as I have.

Why they chose this property

I have always considered the canyon a beautiful and spiritual place. It is a national park and we have a beautiful center that offers classes and activities even concerts. I live in Rome Ga. It takes me 45 minutes to get there and it’s like a different world.
