The house was as advertised and easily accomodated our stay with extended family. Access to the beach and the community pool was very close - all around a great week. We were lucky to get to stay in such a wonderful place!
Our HS baseball team enjoyed this property and made memories to last a lifetime. Location was ideal for the team to enjoy the beach, volleyball, shade, miscellaneous rentals and the nature of the state park and walking the coast was great.
This property was exactly like described. It was clean and met all of our expectations. The location was perfect. We were a group of 16 and there was enough room for everyone to have their own space.
We loved our week at Chateau Soleil! The accommodations were just as advertised and there wasnt one thing we were lacking in the kitchen. Our family of 21 (ages 2 months to 81 years) loved this house, the location to the beach, and the close walk to the pool. Kim and Hussein were so responsive when an electrical storn knocked oyt the fuses to the elevator...they had a repairman there in just a few hours. It is a delightful house for a relaxing vacation!
The house was great. We only bad two issues. One was the back deck door code did not work and would have preferred not to have to use the code every time we went in or out. Everything else was awesome.
This house was amazing from the decorations to the amenities. It is the most equipped/furnished house we have ever rented. The hosts were amazing. Kim and Hossein responded quickly to any questions. House was large enough to accommodate our large family and beach access was great. Would recommend this rental to anyone that needed a large house with a lot of privacy.
We look forward to renting here again.
This has been our second family reunion at this house. The property is large enough for all 20+ of us to be comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and large. The house is near the beach. The elevator lets the grandmother and pregnant mom move easily from floor to floor. The owners are very friendly and take care of concerns immediately.

The Perfect Reunion
Our family just spent a week at this glorious house! Thank you so much for the beautifully clean, well stocked home. There were 21 people here for the whole week and we had the most wonderful time. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces. The location, however, was just perfect. We were so close to the beach and encourage those of you thinking about this home to stop thinking and act!
This home could not have been more perfect for our 27 family members! It was incredible how the space worked for our group and we never felt on top of each other. This home was supplied with everything you could need including (3) full-size fridges. The beach access was 2nd to none! I had multiple questions throughout the week and the owners were incredibly kind and responsive. This was the first time vacationing with my extended family and memories were made to last a lifetime! So grateful for our week away!
The house was large enough for everyone to be comfortable. The family areas and kitchen were large enough to assemble our large family for food, games, conversation etc! The beach was so close. The house was very clean and organized, and the owner obviously added lots of amenities to make us feel at home. The kitchen was super supplied to meet our needs. The house was nicely decorated ( not sterile as some rentals ) making us feel welcome.
The elevator was a perfect solution to getting grandma and pregnant mom up the stairs.
Loved the house.

General Review
Nice location, was great having the elevator for our family members in wheelchairs.
Home needs several repairs.
Did not appreciate receiving all the rules and $5k fine per dead sea turtle found on the beach if you have your outside lights on or mini blinds open to let light out. This should be identified up front not after $10k payment for a week’s rental. This created pressure for our group to “shutdown” everything after dark everyday. Over all this home is overpriced for what you get.

Shawn,
The fine for light pollution on the beach is something new that was just recently imposed on us by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. This is why we have been sending out updated rental agreements. I’m so sorry this happened after you booked and paid for your rental. Unfortunately, everything involving outside lighting does have to start shutting down at dark. We have already changed out the outside lighting and the subdivision was forced to have all the street lights removed. They are serious about this. We really appreciate your feedback.

The house was very nice, the host and hostess, Hossein and Kim were very congenial and helpful. We had a couple of incidents which needed their attention and they were very concerned and helpful and the problems were immediately taken care of. I love the Ft. Morgan area, but I personally do not care for the Dunes location and the location of this house in that complex because public access to the beach runs beside the house and between the deck and the beach so there is a constant flow of people beside and in front of you if you sit on the lower deck. Also because of public access, there is no private beach for this house. The railing on the lower deck is so high you really can’t get a good view of the beach. The house is very nice and most liberally stocked. Great parking spaces.
My favorite colors are blue and yellow and this home was decorated beautifully with them. So much more than bare bone necessities. We have never had such a well-stocked kitchen in our 32 years of family vacation. We especially liked walking to the end of the peninsula Where Ft. Morgan and the ferry were. It's about 2-3 miles and beautiful with few houses.
There were issues with plumbing and air conditioning but they
were taken care of as well as can be expected and Kim was very gracious and prompt in spite of being out of the country on a mission trip.
We loved everything about this home!! From the private, guarded, gated community being off of the main drag, to the best proximity to the beach boardwalk, to the elevator making moving in bags, groceries,….and older family members a breeze, to the HUGE storage at the base of the home, to the huge parking area (and adjacent “overflow” parking area), to the TWO full kitchens, to the comfortable and spacious bedrooms, to the abundance of bathrooms which ensured that everyone had plenty of privacy and made getting a large group cleaned up for dinner no problem at all,…..I could go on and on!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this home!
This was our 2nd stay at this house. The house has great memories for us. It has plenty of room for you to escape to some quiet, plenty of room for kids and adults. The beach is quiet and non commercial, which is exactly what we wanted. Overall…. Fantastic!
We had such a good time here. We had our whole family present; parents, kids, grandkids, great grandkids. Every room was full but it didn't seem crowded. Everyone had their own space and, more importantly, their own bathrooms! The house was beautiful and comfortable and we felt completely at home.
Kim and Hossein were great to deal with. Quick to respond and very nice to talk to. We will definitely be looking at this place again when we come back.
The house was perfect for our family reunion. It had everything we needed and my family said they want to stay at the same place again next year. Loved being next to the beach. Took the ferry from Dauphin Island and that was fun too. There was nothing that we were lacking in the house.
Our family reunion was held here. It was an awesome getaway place with fun for all! The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to prepare food for 27 people. Great memories were made here. Nice to have room to be together and to spread out. We enjoyed table games, football watching, and beach strolls.
Perfect house for a large family - plenty of parking spaces. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the refrigerator/freezer space; large pantry for storage. Kitchen was fabulous and more than adequately equipped. Access to beach was great. The elevator saved our lives - loading and unloading our stuff.
