Queen Suite - Tahquamenon Suites Paradise MI

Welcome to Paradise!
Located twenty minutes away from Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, and Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. Our establishment hosts 8 family friendly suites equipped with kitchens and living areas with full size sleeper sofas. Tahquamenon Suites Lodging is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, gas stations, and a grocery store. We are open year round and have direct access to ATV and snowmobile trails. Enjoy our large outdoor space with picnic tables and charcoal grills (charcoal not provided). At this time, we are not pet friendly. We have coin operated guest laundry on site. Our contactless check in and check out makes traveling easy and convenient to arrive any time after 3pm. We do not have a staffed office on site, but are only a call or text message away!

Everything was simple. The door code was sent to us well before check in time, which was nice. Location was great. Room was well-stocked and VERY clean. We were very happy with our stay.

Close but cozy and quiet

We were close enough to all the excursions we planned and the location was pretty quiet. Our rooms were cozy for what we needed and the ability to have a quiet cup of coffee in the morning or a relaxing evening watching the stars in the provided chairs out front were a perfect touch.

It was the best place we stayed in Michigan. Very clean an like new accommodations! Quiet along main road. Helpful host via text messages. Close to Whitefish Bay and Lake Superior, The Falls, Soo Locks, and Mackinaw. Great restaurant close by, The Goat Locker. We would definitely come back and stay longer!!

Nice place

It was a nice place. The shower pressure was really low, and there was a strong lemongrass scent. The fold out sofa bed was very squeaky, and not real comfortable. The kitchen was very usable.

Quiet place and mostly great

This place was located right on the highway leading through the small town of Paradise. It was within walking distance of the main restaurant, gift shop, and gas station. The main room had a kitchen, sofa/bed, and small table, a pretty good-sized bathroom, and a fairly large bedroom with a dresser and bedside tables. The positives of the place include a comfortable bed in the bedroom, a full kitchen of working appliances and necessary kitchenware, wonderful AC units (we didn't use the heat), decent WIFI access and television. There is a communal firepit with a picnic table and a set of comfortable wooden chairs outside each unit. The cleaning staff was very nice to talk with, and the place was clean. If the windows were closed, it was well insulated from the outside noise, and the check in/out process was simple and easy. Some of the drawbacks include water that unfortunately smelled bad (hydrogen disulfide) making showering and washing dishes unpleasant and the bedroom had a fairly strong musty smell. The sofa bed was not all that comfortable, but my son didn't complain too much.Overall, if the owner can get the smelly water fixed, it was a nice place to stay.

Property was pretty well equipped; except as guest we were expected to do dishes but neither towels or dishcloths were provided.The master bed, although fairly comfortable, was a little wobbly on metal frames (?).We couldn’t figure out the bed in the main living area. I suppose it was suppose to double as a trundle/day bed but it was very uncomfortable to relax on. It never folded completely flat so it couldn’t be used for seating. Otherwise we enjoyed the fire rings and relaxing on the front porch. All in all a nice stay
