About this property
Luxury Treehouse central Stowe/Waterbury. Borders State park. Walk to the Lake!
Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique treehouse. Newly completed in the fall of 2023 by the DIY network featured "Treehouse Guys".
This cabin up on stilts and bordering one of Vermont's beautiful state parks. Views of the walkable Waterbury reservoir can be seen from its perch in the trees. Guests will love the sounds of the birds from the back porch, while still being only minutes from all of Stowe and Waterbury attractions.
This cabin is really one large crafted room so best for a couple or couplkes and familys that do not mind sharing a small space. One queen bed on the bottom floor and and addition queen in the loft that can be reached by climbing up the "stick ladder." A cozy eating nook with ethernet fast wifi where one can spend their morning drinking coffee enjoying their views of the forest out to the lake whie a cozy gas fireplace keeps you warm or adds to the ambiance.
All the cookware needed is provided. Cook a delicious meal or just use the frenchpress to enjoy some of the provided locally roasted coffee. A two burner cooktop stove with beautiful hand crafted mugs, bowls and plates all help enhance the feel of this hand crafted getaway.
The bathroom has a tiled floor and tiled shower with heated flooring. The shower is small, but beautiful and a luxury as it is not easy to get water in and out of a treehouse in the Vermont winters! The small bathroom space is masterfully maximized for all ones needs up in the trees.
The large back porch sports excellent views and gives you the feeling of being nestled in to the trees. One has the option of moving the furniture to catch the afternoon sun, or stay nestled under the roof for a great dining experience during a the rain.
The treehouse is not visible from the road and is accessed by a short steep driveway. The driveway is only 100 feet long, but in the winter one should a 4 wheel drive or AWD vehicle and have winter tires and or chains. The rest of the year it is accesible by any vehicle.
