Ejoy riding on the miles of paths, and easy access to SHARC's sprawling aquatic facility one mile south. This home is also one mile west of Fort Rock Park's sports fields and tennis courts, equidistant from the Woodlands and Meadows Golf Courses (two miles north and south, respectively), and 22 miles southeast of Mt. Bachelor.

Relaxing family fun

Great layout for multiple families. Love this area for its bike paths and aquatic center. Sunriver is a vacation destination.

Great house for groups. Comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms and great floor plan. Dated carpet and couches but overall very comfy and nice. Would stay again.

Nice location, plenty of room, great to have the SHARC passes/extra bikes, home is a bit outdated and has a couple issues with a leaking toilet and washing machine, but they responded and sent someone out quickly. Overall we had a great stay.

Big and fun, but needs some attention.

The layout of the house was great, lots of bathrooms and big rooms. It did look like the carpets were definitely “pet friendly”. I would suggest if using kitchen plan on bringing your own cooking devices. Very limited on kitchen supplies including silverware.

Good stay, good service

The home is large and has plenty of rooms for time with family or friends. The management team repaired a light and the hot tub topper quickly. Only negatives were kitchen utensils and minor cosmetic issues in the home. It’s quite dark with lights on. Overall I would recommend the home. The stay was comfortable and our family had space for a good time. That is the most important aspect for us.

Great house for multiple families, kids, dog! This was a nice and well-laid out home. The bedrooms are nicely sized and offered privacy for our three small families staying over spring break. The backyard area is nice and the hot tub was relaxing! Some of the style in the house is a bit dated, but the house was clean. The chimney for the wood-burning fireplace was not venting well so it got pretty smoky in the house and we saw sparks/red embers coming from the top of chimney outside?! Hopefully a chimney sweeping will resolve that issue. Overall, a lovely stay, I’d recommend the house and we would stay again!

Exceptional stay, with minor issues

To start, the house was cozy and the amount of room was admirable, especially the 4 bathrooms. We felt there were limited pots, pans and baking sheets. Some were dirty and had to be clean prior to use. Limited to no spices. The extra pillows in the closets were dirty. We have been long-term Sunriver vacationers and have stopped bringing board games because the homes always had a vast amount. There were only a few board games, non of which had a full set. Our stay was nice, just a few minor issues.

Long-term deferred maintenance

This is a difficult review to write because I don't like giving poor feedback publicly. However, the pictures shown in the listing do not reflect the house we stayed in. There is a lot of deferred maintenance in this house: missing light dimmer knobs, patched walls missing paint touch-ups, rotting deck boards, drooping rain gutters, and broken bikes (all but 1 adult bike was rideable and the tire pump was broken). Amenities in the house are a little outdated, but not a big deal. Wifi was excellent and helpful as this was a working vacation. The layout is great and there is plenty of space. But some of the deferred maintenance could lead to safety issues. Sunriver is always a good time, but this house does not meet the standards we've come to expect with other Sunriver rentals.

Home should have been cleaner Bikes were in poor repair, several not usable Had to call three different days to get problems like slow draining sink and lightbulbs out taken care of. Were told someone would call back and tell us when they would be there to fix things - never received any call backs. Representative on phone could have been more helpful.

Staff great, home will cause you problems.

The home is dated and clearly it doesn’t seem to have an owner interested in solving the problems. There’s a broken window in a downstairs bedroom and a bathroom fan that sounds like an airliner. There’s icemaker doesn’t work in the fridge very well and shakes the fridge when you try to use the dispenser. The fridge has massive cracks in the back of it and broken drawers. Sinks drain slow, light bulbs are missing or blinding while right above the master bed. There are issues in almost every room that are beyond the norm for a vacation rental at this price point in this town. That being said the Vacasa staff was fantastic, responsive, and focused on solutions so we were able to handle the must haves to get through our trip and have fun. The owner of the property needs to put some money in to fixing things before someone has a real issue with this one.

Family Reunion

We appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere. Two of our kids and spouses stayed upstairs with a grandchild on the loft hide-a-bed. The suites with king-size beds and baths were really comfortable. After we got the AC figured out, the rooms were not tooooo hot. We opened the windows for the cool air at night. My husband and I took the double bed room by the kitchen. By the second night we got used to sleeping in a double bed again after many years of sleeping in a king bed at home. Two of the grandkids slept on the bunk beds. The twin bed looks like somebody broke the frame on the side so noone used it. The sheets were all crisp and clean, the laundry was supplied with enough soap for our 5 days. Check the lint trap for the dryer right away. It was really loaded. We never used the hot tub or bicycles, but they are nice features. There are lots of pots and pans. They are sometimes not very clean and kind of mismatched. I appreciated some non-teflon options. Thank you. We were glad to have brought disposable silverware and some dishes. The stove and fridge are in good shape and we used them every day. The livingroom furniture was fine, but we are on the go all the time, so don't sit around much. The dining table is good for our crowd. The supply of towels is very generous and the kids did enjoy the SHARC one day! I had my truck camper as I drove it to SunRiver after camping for a few days. The things I brought in from the camper were salt, a steamer basket, and a strainer. There was a big steamer pot but I never found the pot it fit into. We ended up using it for a colander! We had a wonderful time in your house. My husband sat for hours at the table on the deck just enjoying the smell of the pines and the solitude. We would go back again!

Everything is Functional & a Good Value. And we'd Return if...

We have group of friends that we like to adventure with and most of them have their creature comforts so short term rental, but we always seek a good value. vacasa delivers on that value and our group of six enjoyed our stay at this SunRiver property. Yes, the were signs that the owner has delayed some periodic maintenance (back & Hottub deck finishes, bat dung spotting near the front door), and while there have been some interior upgrades (bluetooth Stereo, modern appliances), the one thing all of us stated that would hold us back from returning where the bed mattresses, including the bunk beds. Yes, we are all spoiled by our own bed, but most do expect a minimum level of quality of a national brand hotel in a bed - even at a short term rental. Not something that feels like its well past its manufacture's recommended life use. Update the beds, and well even clean the bat dung outside if we find any on our return next year.

Family Vacation

Do not stay here until they update the home and improve property management communication. Pros: We had 6 of us staying this home and there was plenty of rooms. Our granddaughter loved that they had toys to play with and even movies for her to watch. We had 10 SHARC passes and this was an awesome experience. The pool is fun for ALL ages. Cons: 1. The home is very outdated. A few minor things could make this home so much more homey. ie hooks to hang things in the bathroom. 2. Our first day was in the 90's and the air conditioner was broke. They sent 3 general maintenance men out before finally calling an air conditioner company. It never was fixed. 3. During this whole time the communication was very poor with the management company and they made us feel like we were an inconvenience calling them about it. 4. Living room furniture was very uncomfortable. 5. Many of the patio chairs sunk in the middle when you sat in them (we are not big people) 6. Window in master bedroom was broke 7. Deck is in bad shape 8. Many of the outlets are loose and cannot plug anything in them. 9. Fridge light was out I reported a few of the above when I was talking to the management company about the ac but nothing was ever done. If we ever go back to Sun River it will NOT be at this house.

Entire House Needs Updating and Cleaned!

Planned this trip to celebrate my moms 75thbirthday and it was a disappointment from the moment we pulled into the driveway! The roof is hanging off the garage. The bushes are overgrown into driveway which makes backing trucks in difficult. Opened the front door to a very outdated and dirty home. It’s so outdated and dark, it feels like you are in a dungeon. Sad because It’s such a great size home and we were so looking forward to the fact it had 2 king suites upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs as well. Unfortunately, all the beds were miserably uncomfortable and the blankets and comforters were not clean. The couches are old and sagging and one of the cushions downstairs smells of dog urine and dog feces. The carpets need cleaned desperately or maybe replaced would be a better option!! The showers were not thoroughly cleaned. Drinking Glasses in cupboard had been put away dirty so we had to run a load of dishes as soon as we arrived. 3 of the skillets were put away with baked on food which was so tough to get clean, we had to go buy a scouring pad to clean them so we could cook breakfast. All of the woodwork is chipped and needs painted/repaired. The walls are dirty along with paint chips and scratches everywhere. The lighting is so poor that it was difficult to play cards at dining room table at night. We even had to call and stay on hold for 40 minutes to ask them to bring propane as the tank wasn’t filled and there was no spare! Honestly we feel like our special trip was ruined! We have rented 10-14 homes in sunriver over the years and this was by far the worst experience we have had!

Great stay!

We loved the size of this property. Each of the families had their own room with accessibility to a bathroom. The location was a short 20 minute drive into bend. It’s a nice area. My only recommendation would be to spend some time updating the house. It could use some newer TVs especially in the main living room and upstairs loft. Surely this property makes enough profit where they could buy some Black Friday TV specials. My kids were shocked to see a TubeTv. The counter tops in the kitchen could also use an update. Again, we loved the size of the house but minor updates would make you feel like you are really getting your moneys worth.The Master bedroom upstairs was the best part of house, which was updated!
