We liked our short stay at the Ranch House. It was very charming and the small kitchen came in handy.
The location is great, just a block from the main drag and all the shops and restaurants.
This row of no-frills rooms were affordable, clean and walking distance from Dez, a deli and (a little further on) quick-bites cafe with great gifts. Also nearby was Joshua Tree Saloon, which has an awesome large patio and pricey but good dinners and drinks.
