About this property

A historic adobe built in 1938, it has lots of special southwest flavor. 7 minute walk to town and 30 min drive to the ski valley. Comfortable, quiet, private and surrounded by green pastureland, but so close to town. All the New Mexico touches- plaster walls, arched doorways, kiva fireplace and viga ceilings. Stays cozy warm in winter with radiant in floor heating and cool in summer because of the 15 inch adobe walls. Tons of character and artistic touches. Talavara tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Beautiful outdoor areas for relaxing or dining al fresco. Covered parking. Situated at the end of a private road. Situated on one verdant acre.

Comfortable, charming adobe house in Taos

We enjoyed our two day stay here. Communication with the owner was good. Check in was seamless. And the place was clean and spacious (though the second bedroom is fairly small). We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed well appointed. The location is fine, an easy 10 minute or so walk to the central plaza. We left a coat upon departure and the manager was extremely helpful and cooperative in sending it to us.
