An enjoyable stay
This home has a beautifully renovated interior which resulted in a cozy and comfortable stay. The hosts were very accommodating in terms of special requests. The mountain views in Palmer are outstanding, downtown is a few minutes drive, and Hatcher Pass, for skiing, hiking, or viewing is less than 30 minutes away.

About the host

Host profile image
Originally from Alaska, Dani attended Clemson University and met her husband Gable. We were married in 2014 with one requirement: We would go to Alaska every year. We settled into marriage in South Carolina, but Alaska is still a place we desired to call home. Legacy Home, is our home when we come "home." Dani's great grandparents (Bud and Theo Campbell) were original colonists whose items can be found in the Colony House museum.

Why they chose this property

We loved being close to the mountains while being so close to downtown. Several easy to difficult hikes within a short drive. Walks to the river are perfect on clear days. The neighborhood is quiet and wells established. Plus, we have some wonderful neighbors if you get a chance to interact with them.
