This document will ask for your credit card information and your agreement for me, the owner, to verify with you any damage and then your agreement to pay via your credit card.

_________________My Narrative
We are reopening Embracing View's Dreamcatcher Cabin in October following many months of improvements. The wildfire earlier in 2022 caused damage to the front and sides of the of the property, which resulted in a huge loss in Leyland Cypress which acted as a screen between this Cabin and the Lodge next door as well as a beautiful blue spruce in the front, with more Leyland Cypress bordering the upper right side.

New retaining walls, new stone and wood steps were built along with replacing the side decks where the hot tub and mountain view seating is located. We repaired and repainted the decks, added a new hot tub, and replaced all soft furniture in the home (sofas, recliner, mattresses, box springs, futons, etc.).

After the fire a professional restoration service cleaned the entire home including HVAC ducts to ensure fresh, clean air. The best news of all is that the big views for which Embracing View is so loved by our guests were barely affected. The front view of Cove Mountain and rear view of Bluff Mountain are still breathtaking.

I have recently repurchased the cabin from owners who had it for 5 years. I originally built the cabin myself and acted as my own contractor. As a single woman, I was probably taken advantage of and used about 5 different subcontractors to spend a year and a half completing the building phase.

The views and location are like something out of a movie! Our guests tell us over and over that these are the best views and the best cabin they have ever seen. Please check out our photos. and read our reviews.

It is hard to believe that solitude and beauty like this can be found only ~15 minutes from the strip in Pigeon Forge and ~10 minutes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Cabins on this street get five star reviews for their views. Embracing View's Dreamcatcher has the same 360 view, being located on the top of Hatcher Mountain.

Guests said, "It is wonderful to have your coffee on the front porch watching the sun rise, and a glass of wine on the side and rear of the cabin while watching the sunset. It's like a ten star view! Sit on the front porch to watch the sunrise over Cove Mountain and Wears Valley and the back porch to watch the sunset over Bluff Mountain and the many ridges towards the horizon.

The previous owners named the cabin Embracing View because the cabin feels like a warm hug --- country charm inside with wrap around main floor porches, lush landscaping and lots of green around the home, and the gorgeous panoramic views. When I built the cabin I named it The Dreamcatcher because Indian lore says dreamcatchers keep the good memories inside and the bad memories outside. I think combining the names creates a perfect prelude to the feeling of "coming home" that you feel the moment you open the front door.

Guests have rated this cabin as perfect with 85 five star reviews in recent years (our reviews plus the prior owner's). The most common reasons were the beauty of the views and the property, being surrounded by nature, and the location, far from the crowds yet just a short drive to attractions, restaurants, and shopping. If your goal is to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature and the mountains, this is the place!

The best feature of the house is the decks, which are front row seating to big views from all around the cabin as the decks completely surround the main floor. The main floor has a large wrap-around deck, and the upper floor has porches facing each view. The views never stop changing from dawn to dusk, with the sunrise and sunset, fog, wisps of smoke, and weather blowing through. One guest said that the upper porch facing the sunrise is the best place in the world they have ever sat and enjoyed a cup of coffee, watching as the fog burns off of the valley floor.

The main floor features the kitchen, dining room, living room, and a master suite (king bed) with attached bath, featuring a whirlpool bathtub with an amazing view. Most every part of the house has floor to ceiling windows or door somewhere. A queen sleep sofa (with memory foam mattress) in the living room allows the floor to sleep up to four.

The upper floor has a private bedroom with king bed, a den that is set up as a bedroom (queen), and a front loft with a queen sleep sofa (memory foam mattress). The floor sleeps six total and has a central bathroom with shower.

The lower level is a game room with big TV, pool table, and foosball table to keep the kids (little ones and grown up ones too) busy. One end of this level is set up as a bedroom (queen) with adjacent bathroom. This bedroom can be private from the other floors, or you can fold out the two futons in the TV area and sleep four more people. Parents with up to four kids or a group of six kids would enjoy this space. Only put six adults down here if four of them don't mind sharing two regular sized futons.
Three couples can stay in Embracing View's Dreamcatcher Cabin and each have their own floor with bedroom and bathroom for complete privacy, a popular option for couples retreats.

There are 5 hi def flat screen TVs: game room (lower), living room and private bedroom (main), private bedroom and den (upper). A superb Wi-fi system enables you to stay connected and stream content.

Area services: Kroger, Publix and IGA supermarkets within 20 minutes. General store just minutes away at the bottom of the mountain. Swimming is available in the summer at Honeysuckle Meadows, less than ten minutes away. Everything else you could want is 15-30 minutes away in Pigeon Forge, including restaurants, dinner theaters, mini golf, go karts, and golf. Best of all, Dollywood is only about 15 minutes away - open all year round. Also Dollywood's Splash Country is next to the Dollywood entrance - a great summer pool system escape!

Parking for four cars is easy and up to six if you use the turn around. The turnaround area at the top of the driveway makes it easy to get in and out. The cabin is easy to get to from Pigeon Forge, only about 15 minutes from Kroger right by the strip. Only the final three quarters of a mile climbs up to the cabin, and that's a lot less than most mountain cabins. All nearby roads were recently paved and are in great shape.

The previous owners replaced cabinets and shower stalls in the 2nd and 3rd floors, as well as adding the TVs in great rooms and bedrooms. In addition to the bathroom updates everything from appliances to furniture to TVs to the grill outside have been added. A new double oven range helps prepare meals, especially for the holidays.

I have added beautiful black out curtains in every room with helps to block the floor to ceiling windows in all of the 2nd and 3rd floors. I have also added beautiful new rugs, and furniture in the main floor great room.
