This is a true Maine camp! Expect mosquitoes, black flies, no-see-ums, and the occasional critter—especially in summer months.
Keep doors and windows closed to minimize bugs inside.
Do not leave trash, food, or bottles inside or outside, as this helps prevent fruit flies and wildlife.
Finding an insect or critter in or around the camp is part of Maine living and will not qualify for a refund.
*** Water Fee is for the pumping of the holding tank. It is because of this fee we do not currently charge a cleaning fee.

Place had everything needed plus extra nice additions. The kayaks, paddleboat, inner tubes, firepit etc. Great view and comfortable furniture and beds.
We needed a place to stay for my daughter‘s graduation weekend. This house was very cute and cozy right on the lake. We had a wonderful time thank you.
The weekend was lovely and relaxing! Everything needed was right there for us… Including kayaks and a paddle boat. It did rain most of the trip but the games in the coffee table were wonderful and so were the movies we watched. Nice place to spend the weekend with my kids. The fire pit was nice and the neighbors are so friendly! Hoping to get back to spend a few sunny days on the lake!
Check in was easy the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the extras they provided like s’more kits and coffee. They even made sure we had a pot for lobsters when we inquired. We enjoyed the views and swimming. It’s very quiet and peaceful we saw eagles flying over as we sat out and enjoyed the breezes. The directions and pictures helped with getting there. The furniture and beds we comfortable and the Wi-Fi was great. It’s also located close enough to get a restaurant meal or a pizza delivery. Would definitely like to return.
Lovely lake front, very clean, only full sized beds and twin and full bunk beds, spiral staircase was challenging for us over 65 folks.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We're glad to hear you enjoyed the lakefront location and cleanliness of the property. Regarding the beds, we do our best to clearly list all bed sizes in the property description. We also highlight the spiral staircase in the description, as we understand it may be a bit challenging for some.
This was our second time going to this place. We really loved the calming and peaceful view of the lake. The cabin is well taken care of and the neighbors are nice. The owners are quick to respond and resolve any issues.
We enjoyed going to Bangor and eating at the restaurants along with nearby towns.
We definitely recommend going to Te Cozy Lake Cabin.
Great place for my family and I! We spent many hours in the lake, relaxing on tubes, kayaking, peddle boating, and jumping off the dock. The fire pit was great. The owners thought of everything, firewood, fire starters, stuff for s'mores, etc. The camp was great as well, very clean and had everything we needed. The neighbors are also very nice and kept our kids busy!
We came up to see our daughter at UMaine for Family and Friends weekend. The house was great and we had a great time. I just wish we had a chance to take advantage of the other amenities like the kayaks and fishing.
The host was very responsive and everything was exactly as described in the listing. I highly recommend this property and we are already looking to rent it again for next year.
Well appointed for a week at the lake. Paddle boat, kayaks, and a dock. The nice sandy beach with a gentle slope into the lake worked well for the young children. Property owner was always friendly and available to answer any questions.
This is a lovely house on a quiet street with exceptional lake access. We were very comfortable with everything we needed: extra blankets, cookware, and we appreciated that a first aid kit was available if needed. Kayaks and a paddleboat with lots of life jackets to take full advantage of the location.
Be sure to follow Heather's helpful directions, since the Google Maps navigation will send you the wrong way!
Michelle is incredibly responsive and helpful. The view is stunning and the house is clean, comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed hanging out together enjoying view between activities for graduation. The beach at this time of year is very small but that’s mostly because it’s right after the thaw. The parking is very limited. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
With all that the Bangor area had to offer, all the kids really wanted to do was hang out at the lake. Kayaking and fishing... we could have made a week out of doing just that. Just a really nice venue... spacious, comfortable, and close to everywhere we wanted to be. It was well worth the 10-hour drive. Place was as-advertized. Price point was family-friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Well-done and thank you!
The house was great for our trip to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from college. House was clean and location was great. The spiral stairs (as noted) were very steep and we appreciated the gate at the top which we only closed at night so no one took a stumble. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. The living room was set up nicely to hang out and visit with family and there were plenty of blankets and towels. We loved waking up on the water and the sound of the waves. It was very quiet when we were there - most houses were empty still as it was early in the season. Our only complaint would be the access road but again, we were warned. It’s very narrow, passing between the other houses and the water, and has lots of bumps and dips. Probably normal for a lake house access road but just be prepared.
Absolutely stunning property. The owners were so thoughtful and kind. Falling asleep to the song of loons and cool air was so amazing. My Dad is up there in age, but he loved being able to nature watch. It was so quiet. The neighbors are chill classical Mainers. The property had everything we could ask for and then some. That view from the master bedroom though, there are no words. We had such an amazing time and even tho we had to work a few days up there everything we could ever need was cared for. So many thoughtful inclusions. The house rules are clear and sensible. Our communication with the owners was easy and fast. The hospitality was great. If you need a place to savor nature, reboot your mental clock, and simply enjoy quality time with loved ones - this is the one. Having access to a first floor bath and bedroom was so important for my Dad.
We booked this property for 3 nights/days but stayed one night. The camp was clean, well stocked with essentials and fairly easy to find when using our vehicle's navigation system. My youngest enjoyed using a kayak for the night we were there, and the swimming area was nice. I always read reviews before I book a vacation on VRBO. Please do not underestimate the parking spaces. I assumed with our 3 smaller vehicles we could fit in the 3 allotted places but the 2 we came with the first day were really all that fit in the parking. If you have a larger truck or van, you may be only able to fit one vehicle. As a result, my daughter could not join us so we checked out the next morning and found other things to do as a family. Had we friends in the area, I would have had her park somewhere else and picked her up - but that wasn't the case in our situation. So although the camp is spacious enough to sleep plenty of folks, I recommend you only bring 1 or 2 small cars or 1 larger truck/van. Hope this helps!

We purchased this camp after this review in October of 2023. I am very clear that there is parking for TWO cars max. If reading this review please know its TWO cars max. We park a large full sized pick up and a small SUV in this space.
It was just me and my 2 brothers(all in our 50's) but would be perfect for 2 families with you children to share bunkbed room. Very neat and clean!
