Our modern boutique hotel is located in downtown Kalispell. Our Big Mountain studio features:

You can reach us with a quick message! Our smart lock allows for an easy self-check-in with a unique entry code that we provide in our digital guidebook a day before your arrival.

Switchback Suites is located just a few blocks from downtown Kalispell. Guests love the easy walk to breweries, food trucks, cafes, and the Parkline Trail for biking and exploring! With this central location, some street and traffic noise is to be expected at times, particularly on weekends. Most guests enjoy the walkability, but if you’re a very light sleeper, it’s something to keep in mind. :)

You'll enjoy the exclusive comfort of your studio suite, one of eight units at our locally owned and managed hotel. All of our units are accessed individually from the exterior of the building, and each suite is well-insulated, ensuring a private experience.

There's 1 dedicated parking space available for this suite. It's a compact parking space. If this is too small for your vehicle, please use the street parking adjacent to the property.

A few common questions and answers about our space:

Q: Do you allow pets?
A: No. This particular room is not pet friendly, but we do have six other rooms that are! Message us for availability. If an unapproved pet is discovered, a fee of $100 will be billed to your account.

Q: Can we check-in early or check-out late?
A: Early check-in is not guaranteed. In the event your room is ready before 4:00pm, we'll let you know. We do not offer late check-out as our team needs time to prepare for our next guests and make sure everything is perfect for them - just like they did for you.

Q: Do you offer cleanings during our stay?
A: Our cleanings occur before and after each reservation. We're happy to offer an additional cleaning during your stay for a fee of $80. Just let us know!

Q: Do you allow smoking on-site?
A: No. Our entire property is a non-smoking property. This includes, but is not limited to, cigarettes, vapes, marijuana, etc. This is for the courtesy of all of our guests. If you need to smoke, please take it off-site, away from our property. A fee of $250 will be billed to your account if smoking of any kind occurs.

Katie & Joe were prompt, accurate & accomodating with my schedule. Switchback Suites are centrally located in Kalispell with so much in walking distance. You may hear some vehicle noise from an nearby street. But the suites are smartly furnished and set up, fresh, clean, and well equipped with everything you need. Right down to a sound machine. I hope to stay again & book for our staff in the future. Thank you hosts for a great stay away from home.

Great place for my stay. Close to a lot of amenities. A little noisy with the traffic at night, but tolerable. Very clean and comfortable. I will stay again when I come back!!

Fantastic Stay!

This is the place to stay in Kalispell! Checking in and out was very easy and seamless, you're able to walk to shops and restaurants downtown, and everything was pristine. The addition of a washer and dryer was a lifesaver especially after hiking even though we were there for a short trip. The owners are quick to respond and very welcoming!

Clean, Quiet, Cozy and Courteous

For a very affordable price this place was perfect for a one week stay in beautiful Kalispel Montana. It was walking distance to downtown, and a beautiful grocery store. The furnishings were new, well decorated and upscale. The bathroom was MARVELOUS. I thought I might be able to live there as a single person. Communication with the owner was easy and I highly reccomend.
