About this property

This is a historic downtown SLO home built in 1925.With a few updates while keeping it's classic charm. A huge California oak with a treehouse is in the backyard, propane BBQ and a lovely gathering table.There are 2 bedrooms with solid hardwood doors and 1 bathroom.Sofa with chaise in the living room.* We are pet friendly and even have a pair of blue-jays and many morning doves will regale you in the with their songs.

*Please note: This is an R2 lot with a studio in the back end of the lot with a long term renter.

Perfect SLO getaway!

Marti made our stay in SLO easy and comfortable! The house is in a great location, walkable to downtown, hiking, parks. Convenient drive to surrounding SLO County locales. House had everything we needed, and was perfect for our dogs, fenced yard and doggie amenities. Highly recommend for your visit to the Central Coast!

Good value. Great location.

This property is well-run and maintained by owner Marti Brand. The cottage is stocked with everything a traveler might need and is conveniently located near downtown San Luis Obispo. Marti is very responsive, professional, polite and kind.

Charm with great location!

Charming little bungalow, with a great location to restaurants, shopping. Bike paths and hiking paths. The owner was extremely responsive! I would stay here again when in town!

Great Stay

We stayed here for a little over a month while our home in the area was being completed. It was been a wonderful stay! The property was perfect for our small family and dog. It had all the things we needed for cooking, cleaning, laundry and the going to the beach! The kids loved the back and front yard and neighborhood. We loved the proximity to downtown for great restaurants. Marti was very helpful and easy to work with. It is a great home that is dog friendly! It was exactly what we were looking for and grateful we got to stay here. Thank you!

25 years ago I drove through San Luis Obispo on my way to residency from Seattle to southern California I thought it was the most unspoiled beautiful place I had ever seen. Fortunately I was able to move here and can share it with you now.The weather is as perfect as the people are friendly.There is no smog or traffic.Come and enjoy California as it used to be 50 years ago.
