The sounds of the ocean are relaxing - a perfect soundtrack to this paradise. Walk only 100 feet to reach one of the most famous beaches in the world to sun, snorkel, boogie board, and snooze. Travel channel ranks the beach in front of this condo as one of the premier beaches in the United States and Sunset Magazine described it as offering the best swimming and snorkeling in all of Kauai. As advertised! The location was ideal, beach right beside condo offered awesome snorkelling, 10-15 minute drive had 10 other beaches, lots of dining and grocery options. A short 10 minute walk to all the essentials. Condo was super clean, very quiet and hosts have boogie boards, chairs and towels for beach! Awesome for family with young kids with two twin size beds in one room and king in the other, each room with its own bathroom. Every day whales, turtles and monk seals right from lanai! This place is literally 15 feet from the ocean! Truly oceanfront! If ur looking for a quiet, clean, safe place to stay this is it.

Perfect location, great view!

We really enjoyed our stay. Poipu Shores is in a very good location. The view is marvelous. The property appears to be well-maintained. We had a wonderful time, and we booked a stay again next year!

The view was amazing!

We spent two weeks in Kauai this past February. Kuhio Shores is our go to place whenever we visit. Watching the whales, turtles and surfers from the balcony was a good source of entertainment for us as my husband got Covid two days after we arrived. The condo could use some renovating. It's old and dated. The screen door is almost impossible to open and close. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots and pans and dishes. Could have used a laundry basket in the suite.
