Wonderful

The home is beautiful and comfortable and located near a beautiful beach. The amenities are perfect for a family to enjoy. My family of 3 generations enjoyed it so much we are making this an annual vacation! The property is beautiful, and the hosts exceptional. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was more than large enough for our group. The location was exactly what we wanted and had gorgeous views of the water. Carol was very helpful and responsive any time we had a question or issue. We would definitely book here again in the future.

Lovely home in Wareham

We really enjoyed our time at Parkwood - the house was very nice, clean, kitchen was well stocked and met all our needs. We had some issues with the heating but the owners were very responsive and got both a repair person and some temp heaters to us promptly.

We have lived in southern Massachusetts our entire lives. We love the beach and have always been close to the coast. Hosting has been a great experience......we love that our home is enjoyed by others and knowing the fond memories families have made while visiting. We have also had the pleasure of hosting so many wonderful families.

Why they chose this property

I love history of the neighborhood and that fact that the majority of adult residents either lived or visited Parkwood as a child. All of the neighbors I've met have been extremely friendly and helpful. I often hear stories of fond memories they remember as a child, spending summers in Parkwood beach or going to events in the clubhouse. Parkwood is a truly unique community and I love that history and how many of the homes have stayed in one family over several generations. It feels like I've travelled back in time when I am there.

I am also impressed at the large number of residents who volunteer and are involved in the association. They are always inclusive and want everyone to join in on the fun. I don't know of any other neighborhood like this and i always have a warm feeling when I am there. Of course, the beautiful beach and views are quite nice too!

What makes this property unique

The home is truly gorgeous, and it is even nicer in person than the photos. The sunsets are exceptional. Half the house was built in 1924 and the other half was built approx. 2009. The huge great room and fireplace is wonderful for family gatherings and is just one feature that makes this home unique. There are several rooms and sitting areas and a lot of space to relax while enjoying the water view.
