Escape to the heart of the Poconos! Whether you're looking for a summer beach getaway or a cozy winter retreat, our 3-bedroom home in the exclusive Towamensing Trails community offers it all. Relax in the 5-person hot tub on our expansive wrap-around deck, challenge the family to an air hockey tournament in the loft, or take a 3-minute drive to the private 194-acre lake and sandy beach.

Our home features an open-concept main floor designed for gathering. The fully equipped kitchen (featuring both a Keurig and a standard drip coffee machine) flows directly into the dining and living areas.

Master (1st Floor): Queen Bed, Smart TV, AC, and easy access to the adjacent full bathroom (stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash).

Bedroom 2 (2nd Floor): Queen Bed, Smart TV, and AC.

Bedroom 3 (2nd Floor): The "Bunk Room"—two sets of bunks (Twin-over-Twin and Twin-over-Full), Smart TV, and AC.

This house was so cozy clean and conveniently located about 15 min drive to Jim Thorpe. The neighborhood was quite filled with nature. This was our first trip to the Jim Thorpe area and we will be back soon! The house was well-kept, clean, and in a great location. It was awesome to look out the door and see familites of deer just wandering through the yard. The host was fantastic and responsive - even after checkout. We left something behind which we realized after leaving. We had to turn around and drive back. She was flexible and allowed us to get back in to grab the bag.

I’m a big fan of the Poconos and love having a place up here to get away from the noise. I’ve tried to set the house up with everything you’d need for a comfortable, easy-going stay—like a good coffee setup and a solid hot tub. I believe in being a 'hands-off' host to give you your privacy, but I'm always available via the app if you have a question or need a local recommendation. My goal is just to make sure you have a stress-free home base for your mountain weekend.

Why they chose this property

I picked Towamensing Trails because it’s a great, quiet community that actually has things to do. The lake and beach are awesome in the summer, and it’s just a really convenient spot. You aren't stuck in the middle of nowhere—it’s only a few minutes to the Dollar General or for picking up a pizza—but you still get that wooded, mountain feel. It’s also a short drive to Jim Thorpe or the ski slopes, which makes it a perfect middle ground for whatever you're planning.

What makes this property unique

The house has a great setup for families or a small group of friends. The wrap-around deck and the 5-person hot tub are definitely the highlights—it’s the best spot to hang out after a long day of hiking. Inside, it’s a comfortable, open space where nobody feels cramped. Having the loft with the air hockey table is great for keeping the kids busy, and I’ve made sure there are Smart TVs and AC units in all the bedrooms so everyone can relax in their own space. It’s a simple, clean, and fun place to spend a vacation.
