Lloyd is a nice and kind host. We landed quite early and asked if we could check-in earlier than the check-in time. After a 15 hours flight, we were so grateful he said yes, THANK YOU Lloyd! He showed us the local eateries/shops and gave us a few coupons as well. We had a comfortable stay for 2 people . Thank you very much Lloyd for your hospitality.
We loved this place. Location was convenient to the Hollywood Bowl. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Place even had a piano which I played. No complaints at all.
This is a perfect spot if you have friends or children in Studio City. Kitchen is perfect for making breakfast and out to dinner at one of the many great places within walking distance. Be ready to climb some steps but besides that, the unit is great.

Nice location, needs improvements
The location in Studio City is great. Close to everything including a very nice new organic grocery store, Sprouts. The rental space itself, however, needs improvement. Burned out lights, electrical outlet dangling out of wall, cracked floor tiles, uneven walkway with protruding bricks. Note that this place does NOT have a full size fridge, only a mini-fridge like you’d see in a dorm, and the mattress is basically on a raised platform in a cubby on the floor. Very difficult getting in and out of the bed. The landlord was pleasant and communicative and mentioned a few of the needed upgrades upon our arrival call so he is definitely aware of the need. Parking was provided and we felt very safe. Acceptable for a couple but not conducive to visitors or anyone with children.
I am keeping this property on my short list when visiting LA. The location was great. The host was super helpful and the space was well maintained.
*The only concern is the stairs leading up tot he space. If you are not able to use stairs you will want to inform the host.
It was a far property. The furniture needed some repair. The bed was soft. The cabinets and drawers were in repair-mode. The location and the tips were priceless. It had a jacuzzi and a stone two-head shower which is really nice. It is bigger than you would expect and feels homey. Thanks Mr. Lloyd
Stairs up to the property, and from the sleeping alcove, might be problematic for some. Otherwise, a great little place and Lloyd was a helpful and pleasant host. Easy freeway access, and restaurants within walking distance.
I was looking for a property that was near my son’s home in Studio City. This was a perfect location. It was close enough for him to be able to drop me off within five minutes of leaving his home. As far as the property was concerned, it was perfect. It had everything that we needed. It was clean and the bathroom was large and spacious. The patio area had a great view and staying there was just an overall great experience.
My son and I stayed during our trip to Universal Studios. It’s a short distance and would be walkable in nice weather. Lloyd would wonderful to work with and provided great suggestions.

We had an amazing time at this Vrbo. The place was stunning and picturesque. It had every amenity we needed, including a bathroom heater that was glorious. Lloyd himself was extremely kind and helpful. The location was extremely convenient, a 3-minute walk to all sorts of delicious food and only a 30 minute walk to Universal Studios. We had an absolute blast at this Vrbo and we will absolutely book this place the next time we’re in Los Angeles. Thank you Lloyd!
The property was so cute and perfect for my husband and myself. It was located within walking distance of our families house, which was perfect for our Christmas visit. Loyd was very helpful, especially with getting our gift-laden luggage up the 42 stairs to the apartment. He personally showed us around the apartment and was readily available if we had any questions. The small patio outside our apartment had a stunning view of studio city and us East Coasters loved sitting outside in the 50 degree weather having coffee in December! It was a short walk down the hill for breakfast and lunch. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying here during our next trip to visit family.
Lloyd, the owner was great! We flew into Burbank very early before check-in time - Lloyd accommodated us with a place to keep our luggage prior to check-in, as well as a place to change our outfits. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The location was absolutely PERFECT! Will stay here again!
Lloyd was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and transportation, he gave us a number of a reliable cheaper taxi opposed to the Uber's who were price gouging around us due to a concert.
This property is extremely nice. Our host Lloyd was very nice and respectful to our privacy. Beautiful shower with two shower heads! Just a heads up, there are 41 steps from the street to the door, so keep that in mind if you’re not able!
Lloyd is a very responsive, friendly, and gracious host; always appreciated when booking a place to stay. The description of the room was spot on and he showed is other properties available for future stays. Even though our room was attached to the main house, we had complete privacy. I would definitely book again.
This is a cute apartment in a lovely neighborhood that feels very safe. It was perfect for two people (I slept in the bed and my friend had the sofa bed). Lloyd was also a fantastic host. He was very attentive and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in LA.
We had a great stay here. Nice location, close to Hollywood and universal studio. Lloyd is very friendly and easy to communicate.

I have lived in this house since 1998. I am a licensed contractor and enjoys gardening, traveling, photography and telling jokes (sometimes some really good ones!).
Why they chose this property
This property is a 1920's English Tudor style home. Legend has it that the house was built by Mr. Lankershim himself, of whom Lankershim Blvd was named after. Lankershim helped to develop the San Fernando Valley in the 1920's and 30's. The movie Chinatown with Jack Nicholson basically portrays Lankershim's story,
What makes this property unique
What make this such a great neighborhood is the proximity to all of the fabulous shopping and dining that Ventura Blvd is famous for. It is quiet and safe as well as being a fabulous walking area with panoramic views; there is a reason the stars live around here.
